For the price and quality you can't go wrong. I have been using one of these at work for over 6 years now and it still working great. I purchase this for use at home and it work great so far. Great functions, bright large 12-digits with separators and the screen is at an angle making it very easy to read, soft to the touch big buttons, very easy to key-in without looking and nice size for the desk. It is dual power (Battery & Solar) so you can expect years of usage. Other great features that I like are it have a reset button at the back if you mess things up, it has 2 rubber feet so it doesn't move around while using. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. Thank you Canon.

I love this calculator. Owned many over the years but nothing beats this little rascal. No batteries to change, totally solar but still with an internal battery inside. Could not believe the ease of using all the functions. Even has a built in tax + and a tax - minus auto built in. Love the buttons as absolutely no pressure is required to push them, almost like waving your finger over the keys. The real beauty of this calculator is the ability to enter up to 12 digit viewing screen with auto punctuations, commas, periods once you set the decimal point to your liking. The tax key alone is worth the cheap price of this beauty. It's amazing. For example, hit the tax + plus key, enter the amount of tax in your area, and hit the tax plus + key again. The tax function is programmed forever. So simple. All memory functions are built in. The size of this calculator is perfect for desk top use. Gone are the cheap looking black plastic models. This unit is very light weight, colorful and features a tremendous viewing screen set at a slight angel. Very large keys for a mans hands. Widely spaced no clutter. The unit has two built in front rubber pads to prevent slippage. I keep my unit on a shelf with little light without any solar charging problems from the built in top mounted solar screen. This calculator is worth 5 times what I paid for it. It's a keeper.

Small decent desktop calculator.

This model from Canon is my favorite hand calculator. I buy them two at a time because I keep giving them away to clients; this particular model is difficult to find in stores in my area.I like this one because the screen is perfectly angled and doesn't require any adjustment. Ever. The display is big enough for me to see even without bifocals -- next year that might by iffy. The buttons are not huge but they're big enough that I don't fat finger everything, perhaps because there is actually some space between them. I don't use a calculator like this often, so I don't have the wicked fast skills that some people have. I need all the advantages I can get.The keys are soft press and silent. There's a manual adjustment for the level of rounding, percentage +/-, profit margin, and tax. Also a memory for a single value. For a calculator of this size, that's pretty good -- and all I would ever need before I jumped ship to a spreadsheet.The calculator is solar, just like most of these little calculators. One of mine I have had for years, though, and never had any reason to touch the battery. It's a good deal.

Canon is a recognized name in the office products area. I bought this calculator for my desk and its worked fine. No problems. If I were buying agan I'd probably go with a smaller desktop calculator--so I'd measure the space available on your desk a couple of times and then do the same thing with the calculator dimensions. I've would up holding the calculator in my lap more than once--but thjis is my fault.Calculators are commodity products nowadays and I suggest you may want to shop around for the best product for you at the best price.

I love this calculator! The keys are big, it sits stable when I pound the keys, and they are well spaced for easy use. Quickly displays as I type.Solar power is great. Good viewing angles too!No wonder this has become kind of a classic!

This is a great business calculator. All the right functions including margin and tax buttons plus a really solid and satisfying feel with each press of the buttons.I'm writing this review because I'm having to buy a replacement for the last HS-1200TS that I bought in 2015. Here we are at the end of 2023 and this calculator just died on me. I think it's mostly my fault as I mistakenly set it on my wireless phone charger and then it was dead the next day. Either that or 8 years is the life expectancy for this calculator.Either way, it was the best $9.94 I ever spent as I used this thing daily for those 8 years. I'd calculate how many pennies a week that is but my calculator is dead......
