Ano Retractable Gear Tethers with Stainless Steel Cord and Carabiner Underwater Gear Retractor Keeper

I'm not a big review guy, but since there are no other reviews on this product, I wanted to save others from wasting their time and money.I bought this retractable tether as well as a different brand tether. The other brand had great reviews, claimed a retraction force of 20 oz, and they were true to their claim. This product was $3 cheaper in price and infinitely cheaper in all other facets. Producing a product which performs at a rate of 30% of its claims is a fail. Retraction force on land, on level ground, was about 7oz, not 24oz. Might seem petty until you realize that the deciding factor when purchasing these types of products is actually their retraction force. I would encourage the makers of this product to modify the description in regards to retraction force.

Does not hold anything heavier than a few ounces. Certainly not heavy duty.

The little thing is nice, untill you take it in water (like it is intended for) the internal clock spring rusts and quickly breaks.
