It’s not too long it’s covers to my shoes.
I am 5’6 curvy solid shoulders. I always order 5x and I love the big fit. Yes it’s too big. I could get away with a 3X but after a couple washes it fit perfect. The dress looks thick and heavy however it’s not it’s light. Can wear in cool summer nights or fall. I ordered 2.

Size Runs SMALL but Wonderful Fabric
I like maxi dresses like this to be loose fitting as I use them for VERY casual wear. I ordered a 3X ( I normally wear 1X) because the description says that fabric is cotton/linen and I wanted to allow for shrinkage. I can wear (and kept) the 3X but I ordered another one using 5X. The 5X is what I was expecting the 3X to be!This launders well (little shrinkage....warm water wash and delicate dry) and the weight (and breath-ability) of the fabric is wonderful. I don't think this style is meant to be real form fitting so I recommend you go BIG when ordering., it will not affect the overall look of the maxi dress and it will be much more comfortable ... and could allow it's use as a bathing suit cover-up.

More of a casual Caribbean dress wear
Although I bought a small it was still large, not as thick as I expected, and the pockets reached my thighs. It is not appropriate for what I intentionally bought it for but more suitable for a hippie cool sort of mood & place. Maybe the Caribbean Islands.

Finally a good buy!
OMG ITS REALLY COTTON!!!! This is the first Amazon third party seller that actually sold me what I paid for...COTTON!!! Thank you Thank You! I ordered up...big mistake but I can alter. It’s well made nice looking to lounge around in or use as a coverup. The colors are really pretty. I tried to shrink it by washing in very hot water but it dint shrink or fade at all came out looking like new I even put it in the dryer so I will have to take it in up the sides but that’s ok cuz now I know I don’t have to handle it with kid gloves. Anyway finally a good buy!

Honestly I didn’t think I’d like this dumb dress as much as I do. I really like it. I’ve worn it to the store, the doctors office, the zoo, the store again, walking my cat, a casual social event, and bumming around my house. I’m tall so it could be longer and I’d like it even more.
