Calico Brands, Varies BKOU-1/12 0 King Util Lighter

I was unsure about ordering this as I didn't know what brand it was. But, I am pleasantly surprised. Much better than I expected. I've been using this all week to light candles etc. It works wonderfully every single time, at least so far; I haven't had it long, so I'll try to keep you updated. But, as of now, I definitely recommend this.** UPDATE, January 28, 2015: Still going...!I realize a lot of people get these and they don't work very well or at all, or if they do they don't last for long. That is most likely the case with many of these, so I guess I lucked out, because that is exactly what I expected with this one. Of course it's not perfect, but surprisingly, my husband just used it to light the barbecue tonight for dinner. My gripe with this and most like these, is that you have to slide the thing on the side and hold it while trying to light it. I don't know if they make one where you don't have to do that, so if anyone knows of one, please do tell. All-in-all, I guess it's just a hit and miss with these kinds of things. But just thought I'd let you all know about the experience with the one we have.

I light a lot of candles for stress, spirituality purposes, or just to get in a focusing mood when I have work. I tried matches but they scare me and I burn myself, and they only last for a year. They refuse to light. This solved all of my issues!

I love having a fire in my gas fireplace in the winter time (and the cat does too!) However, I've found that not all of them I(in fact, very few) are easy for my arthritic fingers, hands to use. This one is perfect and when it gets low, I'll be buying another to have on hand. If you have limited usage of your hands/fingers this is the one you need to try. And the price is right!

Pretty standard grill lighter. We use them to light candles in our home, just makes it easier! Brand new packaging and easy to use. As with any grill lighter there is a safety switch you have to use each time. This isn't a problem to us, we could care less. Overall wouldn't hesitate to order again, I'm not sure what they're going for in store but I'm sure it is a pretty similar price unless you go to a dollar store.

This lighter does what it is suppose to do but the price is little high for what you get. The trigger pull is a little hard and handle not that comfortable. Overall its borderline okay.
