***Update: I contacted the manufacturers who were very prompt, clear and courteous in their reply. They say that from now on the Swivi S5 will come with the optional extension bracket included and have sent me a free one. Impressed!***I have just received this viewfinder which I bought because it was claimed that it would fit cameras with a battery grip - and indeed it even says on the rather sparse instructions on the packaging, "use extension frame for battery grip". Well, either the extension frame was missing from the package or there ain't one. There is a paucity of information on Swivi's own website, but I did contact them directly and received a very fast response saying that the extension frame should have been supplied - but just to complicate things and acknowledging the possibility of a language barrier, I am unsure if they get what I mean...The frame that came in the package needs to be at least 15-20mm longer/taller to fit my 7D Mk2 with BG-E16 gripI will add to this review when things become clearer.All the above aside, when fitted to the camera without the grip, it is good. It has a feel of quality and certainly delivers optically what I was looking for. It is a bit fiddly to adjust, but once done it is fine - you can still access all the buttons - just - but then space is at a premium on the back of most DSLRs anyway - and grip issue aside, I would be hovering between awarding this product 4 or 5 stars.
