Fine powder. Nice and mellow. Good for back pain.

Taste is not great (yes as far as Kava goes) Effect is weak.I have tried this Kava twice because the price is right but I really don't get much out of it. I like all kinds of Kava from heady to heavy and this was... Neither?Spend the extra money on something better. Do your research. I'd take the Waka available on Amazon of this. Sorry Kona... This is a terrible product. Quality was on par with kava stems.. This is not good quality. It is not even mediocre. Very disappoint and I would very much like my money back. Rip-off artists selling the worst kava imaginable, preying on unknowing novice kava experimenters. I have used kava for years and never had anything this crappy, I wouldn't be surprised if it were stem powder. I purchased this brand by mistake, and a very stupid one at that. DO NOT BUY if you are looking for a quality product.

Definitely did what it said on the tin. I would go for a stronger product next time, but this met expectations and it even shipped early. Great starter kava.

Don't believe the negative reviews here. Many of them are advocating that you visit the "Kava Forums" which are really just a website that is run by Gourmet Hawaiian Kava and True Kava. This Kava product is fine and is only attacked to help benefit the colluding vendors who want to keep the cost of Kava very high for you, the customer.

New to kava. Very nice relaxing effect. Will be fairly potent if the reverse tolerance takes hold.

I would stack this next to worse tasting cbd oil. No noticable effect for the price. Seller is legit product has described.
