Spectrum Diversified 18478 Euro Mug Holder, Large, Satin Nickel

I needed something to display my collector mugs, mainly from Harry Potter and this mug holder fit the bill. First of all I needed something sturdy and that wouldn’t tip over easily. After all if you have mugs you can’t replace you don’t want some flimsy holder that might fall over and break all your treasures. Not only is it sturdy and heavy it is made in a satin nickel finish which made it look so good on its own. Everything seems to have been thought of in designing this mug tree. The branches tilt up so that your mugs stay in place. It will also hold different sizes of mugs without them hitting each other which is important to keep them from breaking or getting chipped. It’s a clean design that looks futuristic and yet will fit in with any décor.Measuring mine, it was 17 ½ inches tall and takes up 7 ¼ inches horizontally. It holds 8 mugs.Not only can this hold mugs but you could also use it to hang necklaces or bracelets.This is one of the best buys I have made in a while and I feel like I got my money’s worth because this will more than likely last a lifetime.Updated 2/9/2017 I loved this so much when I filled up this one I bought another one. Our kitchen cabinets and shelves were built for tall giants, suitable for my 6-foot husband, but an issue for a shorter 5’ 2” person such as me.I can reach the lowest shelf, the second shelf is a stretch, the third up requires a step-stool, and the top one is too high for me, even with a short step ladder.Therefore, I only use the bottom shelf and the next one higher, reluctantly. Consequently, my six large glass mugs were scattered in different cabinets instead of just one area. I grew tired of constantly searching through each cabinet, just to find my coffee mugs, and I needed the extra space, which is limited for a shorter person like me. Furthermore, when so many items are crowded on a single shelf, it’s just a matter of time when one falls out and breaks.This large mug stand is tall enough, and has enough space to hold 8 large 12 oz. mugs and without clinking on each other. In addition, the ones on the bottom do NOT drag on the counter-top as there is about ½” inch of space below, as they hang on the hook.General Description with dimensions:The mug holder has an (almost) 18” inch height, which fits under our high cabinets, although I do have to tip the mug holder a little bit in order to clear lip of the cabinets front facing extender that hangs down an inch. However, the mug holder fits under, and with almost an inch before it touches the bottom of our wall cabinets.The diameter of the mug holder is 7”, and however it would require approximately 8.5" inches for the mugs to hang freely in all directions. Therefore, the hanging mugs would not bump against the wall or anything beside it.There are 4 curved bars to hang the mugs, which go in two alternate directions, and they stick out approximately 3” inches from each side and with an upward curve, to hang a total of 8 mugs. The upward curve of each hook prevents the mug handles from sliding off the space.The space between the hooks is approximate 3 ½” – 3 ¾” from the one above, and 7” inches between the hooks that go in the same direction. This provides enough room for my larger mugs to hang free and not clink against each other.My last observation is the sturdiness of this mug stand, as I can have more mugs on one area than the opposite side, and it still remains balanced and upright.In conclusion, this was an ideal choice for a mug stand holder. The holder keeps all my 12 oz. glass mugs conveniently located along our coffee maker. In addition, aside from the attractive contemporary appearance, this mug holder has a well thought out design, with the capacity for hanging larger mugs safely. My mugs do not clink against each other, nor do they scrape against the counter top, and there’s no risk of my mugs slipping off the hooks.I have submitted separate pictures of the mug stand with 12 oz. capacity glass mugs, 10 oz. black and white ceramic mugs, and the last photo shows the 8 oz. size porcelain mugs. This mug stand looks great and can hold assorted mug sizes and capacities, up to 12 oz., and in addition, none of the mugs touch the countertop when placed on the lowest hooks.

Very sturdy, weighted, and am pleased with purchase. Most of my cups are xl. It’s worth the note to say that the larger cups do not sit/fit too well on lower hooks. Outside of that, very pleased with the product.

This is sturdy, durable, thick and is currently holding a giant set of mugs that I bought my uncle. I'm sorry I don't have a photograph, but I can tell you it's definitely not a light flimsy little thing that you have to worry about bending or denting or even break it with a heavier mug. Mine is currently holding 4 very large ceramic mugs that probably hold two cups of coffee in each cup. It's very nice looking. I could see it looking good in any kitchen. It doesn't stand out (like it's not busy or shiny) but it looks sleek and well-made and what you're really looking at is what you're hanging on it and the good news is it's going to hold up and be around for a long time. Because of its simplicity I could see it standing in any kitchen like it is on my uncle's table. I would definitely buy this for myself if I needed another would absolutely come back for this one. Its form and function is definitely worth it and it arrived to me in great condition and really fast. Can't ask for much more.

When this arrived the Amazon shipping box was destroyed, literally, and I know that isn't the seller or Amazon's fault directly, but I was very concerned for the package contents as it contained more than just this item, but everything seemed intact. This shipped wrapped in bubble wrap without a box, or so I assume but it was basically just floating free in the box. It looked good but when I set it on the table it was noticeably leaning to one side. I set it on the floor and stood on the base and bent it back to vertical and put it on the coffee bar.So much for the negative, now the good stuff. It looks good and matches the other stainless steel appliances I have. It is big and holds 8 decent sized mugs with no issues at all. It is very sturdy and even with half the mugs off it is stable. Overall I am happy with it and would buy again.

Love this tree mug! It's durable and stable. I use all of the 8 hooks. I have big mugs and they sit comfortably on the tree. I especially like the sleek look. It's smart without being fussy. I was mad that the price dropped two days after I bought it. That's the way it goes sometimes but it was worth the few extra dollars.
