Sería mucho mejor si se conectara automático a la wi-fi..no lo puedo usar en otros lugares porque necesito la contraseña de la wi-fi del lugar,sin eso es imposible de usar..lo demás es perfecto..

El producto es funcional mientras tengas un buen internet, de lo contrario no funciona para nada, y en realidad es una compra innecesaria ya que por un costo mucho menor uno consigue una aplicación para el celular que funciona de la misma forma y en mi caso mucho mejor, plata perdida comprar este dispositivo o cualquiera igual

My girlfriend's family would like to visit us from Spain. They only can speak a little of English. So in order to be able to talk with them directly, I bought this translator.It's light weight and small size. It needs WiFi to work properly. The interface is pretty straight and clear. The left and right buttons are controlling volume. The up and down buttons match the two languages you select on the touch screen. There are 70 Languages included. Even just for Spanish, there are around 10 from different countries.It's easy to use. Just keep pressing the up or down button (depending on what language you speak) when you'are speaking. Release the button when you finish speaking. Then it will automatically translate it to the other one. I try a lot with my girlfriend to see how's the translation. It translate well for general things. I'm glad it works well. We also compare it to the google translator online. This thing is much better and more accurate than the online version. But if you use some slang, it's kind of hard for it to translate correctly. So speak normal and clear is important for good translation.

Much slower than the free translator app for your phone. I found it convenient to use as a training tool for self study at home if you don't have use of a cellphone. Can work with your phone hot spot when traveling.

Easy to use, pretty accurate, although may have to repeat what you want to translate. And needs WiFi or will not work. The WiFi part was disappointing since not every country has WiFi readily available and not everyone has hotspot on their phones. Unless WiFi is available the translator WILL NOT WORK.

I bought this translator device to my dad as a Father's Day gift. He was so happy to have it. After 15 minutes or so teaching him how to use it, he completely understands all the settings.Here's what he said "This device is so smart, it knows 70 kinds of languages, and can easily translate from one to another, once it is connected to Wifi. Fast and accuracy. Now, I can talk to anyone without anybody's help. I can also learn from this smart device. This is the best translator device, nothing can be compared. "Here's what I thought: it saves me lots of time. Because my father always "bothers" me if he needs translation, and he always heard from his friends how great the apps his friends downloaded, or the devices they bought. Then he would ask me to download or buy for him. But the fact is that all of those apps or devices are useless.Now, he can take the smart thing out, and show off to his friends.

This 2-way translator seemed to have worked initially the first night we tried it. The next day we tried to connect it in 3 different active Hotspots and to a different WiFi, it did connect on one hotspot but did not do any 2-way translation at all and did NOT connect on the others plus the other wifi. When we got back home it shows that it connected on the home wifi but this it QUIT working at all! The accuracy is not that great at all. The sound from this small speaker and volume is poor! Needs a lot of work to improve this product. Plus it does NOT have any parts on this unit that will allow you to hang it on a lanyard to keep it with you while travelling. Just handheld and can be easily misplaced or get lost!

I bought this simple voice translator device for my grandparents to help them communicate with their grandchildren who were brought up in the United States and can barely speak or understand mandarin Chinese. I'm happy to say that this device single handedly was able to break down the language barrier and allow them to communicate with each other. The translations from mandarin Chinese to English and vice versa is good, quick, and has brought tremendous joy to my grandparents. I especially like that this voice translator device works while it is not connected to the internet and is small and light enough for it to barely be noticeable while carrying it in your pockets. The LCD screen is crisp and easily readable, and the fact that it does updates is reassuring that it will continue to improve its translation accuracy and speed. All in all, I am glad I made this purchase- it fulfills its purpose while also providing extra thoughtful features that enhance its daily use.
