Sun Shelter (Blue)

Very light weight, easy to carry, and easy to put up. I use mine on Panama City Beach. I dig a little hole then put the sand bags in then push the sand all around the edges so the wind can't get under it. The pockets inside are great for storing your phone and sunglasses. I zip up the front flap when I'm in the water or make a trip to the car. That makes me feel better about my stuff being safe from thieves. I was surprised that it folds up small and EASILY fits back into the carry bag. I haven't used the clips yet but I think they will come in handy in the future.

There were not enough sandbags to hold it down in the wind at the beach. While I was sitting in it with my baby it nearly blew over on top of us. It was easy to set up but one of the poles broke the first time we took it down. Perhaps it would've been better in a yard or somewhere where it could be staked down and no wind. It ended up being a waste of money for me.

I purchased this for the use if providing shade and coverage at the beach for my baby & toddlers. Once put up the coverage was great and provided the needed shade and coverage from the wind. However it was not so easy to put up. It took 2 adults and about 10-15 mins to put up. I'm sure the more you do it the easier it would get but with 3 kiddos it's just not practical and therefore I would not recommend for use at the beach unless you have two hands to help and no young toddlers with you.

I strongly recommend setting this up before you take it out for use. I bought this to take on an upcoming trip to Maui. It arrived quickly and I set it up in my living room. The poles are too long to fit. It was like wrestling with a python to get the poles over the pins! I worked up a sweat and broke skin but finally got it together. It's pretty nice once you finally get it set up. I think it will work nicely to provide protection from the sun. I left the tent set up for four days and hope that will help stretch the fabric and make the poles more flexible for the next set up on our trip. It will definitely fit in my suitcase. It is very compact and lightweight for packing and carrying around. I would have given 5 stars if the poles fit better. It would help immensely if they were even half an inch shorter or the straps with the pins were half to one inch longer. I sew and may add a bit more strapping fabric to the straps before our trip. On the plus side, it gave me a good workout and I will definitely have earned a nice frozen concoction after getting it set up. Make sure you have liquid refreshments with you. A lava flow would taste great after getting this set up!

Excellent tent, great price. Easy set up, and take down. big enough for 2 adults or 3 kids plus bags. It was nice to be able to zip our things up side if we wanted to walk down the beach. Also fold up small enough to fit in our suit case since we were flying.

The tent poles are very firm and difficult to manage. I am an avid camper who has set up many tents, but this shelter is by far the most difficult to set up. The poles seem to be too long for their intended enclosures. I bent them nearly to the point at which I thought they would break but still could not secure them into their locations. My wife indented to use this as a beach shelter for our infant son. I returned it because she would never be able to set it up herself while managing a child.

This tent is hands down the best product we have for the beach with our little one. It is so easy to assemble. It is roomy enough for us and the baby to sit in away from the sun. It has windows that allow breeze and it zips up to change our of our wet suits after swimming. Customer service is top notch!! We lost a pole, and I requested a replacement pole- they sent us a brand new tent set and the replacement pole!!! Amazing. Highly recommend

This tent was kind of hard to get the poles into place, takes a strong person, but when put together it is very sturdy, big, and works well! I like that it can zip up for changing.
