Q-Workshop Forest 3D White & Black Dice Set (7) White/Black, Standard (15mm - 17mm)

Pros:Intricate and pretty, these dice have fascinating patterns and thematic vine-like lettering. They roll easily but have enough weight not to go wild. The black and white pattern provides an excellent contrast.Cons:My only complaint is that you might need to squint in low light conditions. The numbers are readable in good lightning, but I had to take a second glance at them once or twice when testing how they rolled.Conclusion:I wouldn't recommend these for the visually impaired, but those with decent eyesight and a nature-oriented character would get tremendous enjoyment out of them.

Ok, so the dice look amazing. I will say, they are a bit light, so if you like to feel the dice in your hands, these aren't for you. The comments about not being able to read the numbers is overstated. I can read them as well as many other dice I have.My big concern at this point is the smell. They seemed like they were new dice, sealed in original box, with even more seals inside the box. But I opened them up, and they smell. Very funky, like feet or body odor. Maybe a mile soap and washing will help. But they are stinky.

The design is very easy to see and stands out amongst the dice. As far as special sets of dice go, this one is my favorite so far because of how vibrant it looks.The downside is you can barely read the letters, even in good lighting. So you may have some people questioning your rolls, because they can't see them either.Really good, but not perfect.

This set is lovely. The etched in pattern creates texture, it is not just painted onto a smooth surface. Would give this 5 stars but my d12 is difficult to read. I can't tell if the etching itself is flawed but the patterns on that piece are less crisp and more fuzzy as compared to the others. I'll have to use another d12 with this set, which is disappointing.

These dice are unlike any that I have (even other Q-workshop). They don't look or feel like most dice which primarily are flat with only a small impression or engraving for the text. Instead they give you the impression of going carved. Every millimeter is beautifully used to further the natural feel. The only down side is that they can be somewhat hard to read, but this hasn't been, much of an issue even without my glasses.

I don't know whether it's the more rigid plastic or the black ink/paint but these dice smell and so will your fingers. Sealing them with polyethylene won't work either. Nice looking dice, touched them up with a gold sharpie and gorilla glue but they still smell. Smelly dice for a smelly druid build.

I received the d4 of this set as a bonus item in a dice cup. I HAD to have the whole set. The detail is fantastic, they're balanced pretty well, and they have a very satisfying bounce when you roll them.
