Barbie Collector Edition American Stories Collection Second Edition Pioneer Barbie

My daughter is OBSESSED with Little House on the Prairie and of course loves Barbie. She somehow came across this doll and asked Santa for it.She is so in love with it! Dress is beautiful and she loves the little book. While the doll we got looked like it may have been opened before because her hair bun was undone she didn’t care.

Doll is in great shape and was delivered on time. Only bad thing you could say is the box isn’t in perfect shape but that’s okay with me and if it’s okay with you then you should get this doll. At first I thought it was sketchy but I took the risk to order it and I’m glad I did.

With this doll being nearly 20 years old, I expected the box to be maybe slightly faded or worn but it was in excellent condition and the doll and contents inside were perfect! It arrived when expected and I am very happy with this purchase.

I had purchased the first edition Pioneer Barbie for one granddaughter and this one for the second graddaughter. This one is dressed in a flower printed dress with cap and apron that copies the style of the place and time. She carries a milk container and behind her is the General Store. She comes with a little book.I am reading the Little House on the Prarie books to the children and viewing some of the television series. The dolls are a nice way of rounding out the experience. As my own grandmother, as a tiny tot, travelled to her home in a covered wagon, it is a nice way to link the children to some of their family history.

Barbies from the 90s are much better quality than the ones produced today. This collection in particular was so high-quality, that I went back in time to it for my nieces' Christmas presents.
