I have gotten a couple of different helmet/bike cams. The problems with them was never could get a solid picture. Was always shaky.With this one, I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent picture, solid, no shaking. Cam must be right side up other wise the picture will be shown sideways or upside down.I am very pleased and would buy another one if needed.The con's::1. setting the settings on the LED at the back of the cam. Seemed that the screen would not take the finger press well. Even tried the eraser on the end of a pencil.2. The built in battery does not last very long on full charge. I was running a 32mg card and as close as I can tell, time is estimated at about 30 min run time. ( I never got that far, but after running for an hour, with several stops, totaling actual run time of 23 minutes, battery indicator shown 1/2 run down.If cam is run in a vehicle, use the mobile charger it comes with to keep the battery at full charge.

My grandson asked for a camcorder. This was a great choice since my daughter's family is always on the go. I will edit once he uses it.

pro's and con's:cons:its useable, but helmet mounts it comes with is... confusing and usless. the presser clamps on the helmet strap cant lock nor is it posable to get a snug fit.it also has moments where camera stops recording while bike riding with bike mount. i have no idea the case of this would be. camera is not made for rough biking riding.Pro's: it is good for a dash cam no problems to report while driving cam works with out error and window mount works well as well.end of list

This rating is not compared to a GoPro. This is not anything close to one.It is a fine sports action camera for ~ $50.It of course comes near 0% battery, so charge it first. Then make sure you get a nice sized micro sd card. I've figured the data rate to be about 9gb per hour of hd video.Also the screen eventually shuts off so the battery should last a while.If you're particularly adventerious , you can add or replace the batteries with hobby rc 3.2v lipo batteries for more run time.

I was enthralled to receive my camera on a friday, just in time for a fun filled weekend. Much to my dismay after playing with the car mode feature for a few minutes, I set the date and time; and switched to the camera to still mode. Thats as far as I made it when the camera screen became snowy and jumbled. The camera was then frozen on this screen, to no avail after charging and pressing every button on the thing. Very let down, I invested too much energy into thinking I got a great deal. However, amazon fulfilled the order, so there was no issue with the return policy, and I even got my money back for the protection plan I bought along with the camera. Terrible product, Great Service!

ProsThe quality is decent.Sound quality is ok but it is an action cam.This camera has already taken a handful of falls with no issues.ConsI don't know who is to blame but the title is a little misleading. The title states 1080p and other than the 5mp still shots this video camera is not 1080p so I'm not sure why it is in the title other than it being misleading.

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift in the beginning of December. The gift was not used until February when on a snowmobile trip. There is no battery life! The Gear Pro turns on then immediately turns off. I made sure it was fully charged and it still doesn't work! I tried to return it but was told that it's beyond the return policy! This company certainly doesn't stand behind the products they sell! Talk about throwing away money!

I gave this two stars because when I started using it, it was fine but after about 5 minutes, the screen was glitching and then went completely white. The package came on time and everything was in good condition. I really like the mounts that it comes with. I just wish the camera worked.

Great camera! The only issues are that the attachment pieces break a little to easy but other than that it films very well! Very impressed because price was great too! We love this little camera!

Woks good bought it for my 9 year who does all kinds of sports. He's a gymnast and loves to use his camera on his snowboard and scooter to check out his moves.

I purchased this camera in September with the intentions to use it while skiing. In December I finally took it out of the case and found that the power button broke before I had ever used the camera. Due to Amazon's return policy I cant return or exchange the item since I would have had to return it in October. This was a GIANT WASTE OF MONEY for me, this camera BREAKS EXTREMELY EASILY and I highly recommend avoiding this purchase.

Gave as a gift. and it was defective right out of the packaging. Blank screen with lines across. Tried to see about refund or return but because I had given the gift and it was opened after the 30 day return period I was out of luck and seller was unhelpful to help locate any manufacturer info or help. Complete let down and waste of money.
