First off, these bowls are really beautiful. The craftsmanship is clean, the colors even and the patterns are lovely. The color is true to the photos posted by the seller.I have had these bowls for over a month and I am even in love with them more now. They've been through multiple dishwasher cycles with no problem. I have accidentally banged a bowl or two against other bowls/dishes. I was worried that I'd just chipped my new bowls. After inspection, no marks at all! These things are sturdy. In fact, I love them so much that I bought another set.I do want to say that they are rather large for cereal. Not obnoxiously large but a little larger than I anticipated. No problem. I measured out my cereal for a few days and now I know how much I should pour into these bowls. I also use these bowls for canned veggies (green beans, corn). The contents of the cans fit perfectly in these bowls without being too full or with too much extra room. Just right for a nice presentation.I seldom give anything 5-stars all the way down the line but these bowls are great. I might buy one more set.

I bought this for the first time about 2 years ago. The bowls have been wonderful. No chips or breakage despite daily use. Excellent weight and stack well.We use bowls a lot so I bought another set a month ago. My only complaint is that the color is not the same between my two sets. The newer set is lighter blue than my original and there are a few places where the printing is a little askew. See picture comparing the older set and the newer set.

Great size, nice deep shape for cereal or soup, makes it easier not to spill anything. Bonus they are super cute!

These bowls are beautiful and seem quite sturdy. I love everything Asian inspired (including the food) and I can't wait to try these out. If they ever make a slightly larger bowl set in the future with the same designs, I'll be sure to buy them. Seems like real good quality and value for the price is awesome! I gotta see how they hold up over time.

I needed some cereal bowls to replace old ones that have either been broken or discolored. In the past, Pier One was my favorite place to shop for nice dinnerware. However, they have recently changed to online only, and their shipping and return policies are not as generous as Amazon. That said, I love my new cereal bowls. The 4-piece set features 4 different designs. They are sturdy, classy and most importantly dishwasher-safe. Recommended

I love the size and design of the bowls, they are very pretty. I like how they are also microwave and machine wash safe. However, the stamp on the bottom of the bowl melted/smeared? I only microwaved it for 45 sec and let it sit for a minute for my oatmeal to cool off. Noticed it when I was rinsing the dish and putting it in the dishwasher. I don't know if they just forgot to glaze the bottom?

I love these so much. I bought two sets of bowls and plates. They came packaged very well. Each set of bowls and plates were wrapped with a flexible web like netting and were surrounded by soft foam in the box. I'm not using these right away. They are for when I am able to have my own place, so I can't really comment on durability. I did pull each of them out to check to make sure they were all intact and they seem study. They are beautiful, just like the pictures. For everyone saying that they were disappointed that they found out after the fact that they are made in China and not really Japanese... The description states that they are Japanese style and that they are made in China. A few people were disappointed in the size of the bowls. The description also has the measurements. I measured the bowl I use at home and it is the same size... and when I was checking to make sure none of the bowls were damaged, I compared them side by side... so I knew that they would work for me.

I simply adore these bowls. Fantastic value for money as they look rather expensive. Each bowl has a different, gorgeous pattern but with a similar theme. The glaze is vibrant. Love these.

Good quality, great design bowls in a useful size for many uses, eg breakfast, soups, stews, storage of leftovers in fridge.

très beaux bols dont les décors ont un très beau rendu ; la porcelaine est fine cependant les bords sont suffisamment épais pour les qualifiés de solides !passent au micro onde sans soucis , le contenu chauffe sans se bruler par le bolgrande contenance 750 ml env ; donc pour de grands gourmands au petit déjeuner et peuvent aussi être utiles au service
