Clover1223 Amour Steel Crochet Hook No. 6, 1.00mm , Purple

I love this brand of hook and am slowly replacing my off brand ones with these as they are far superior. The hook is rounded so it does not snag on delicate yarn. The ergonomic handle make it possible to crochet for longer with out my hand cramping. I have had some of these for a number of years and have completed hundreds of projects and they still look brand new.

The handle feels less grippy than the one I had before, but I’m glad I was able to get this specific one instead of having tobuy a whole new set.

I had always used Boye hooks but about 11 years ago I decided to give these hooks a try and I am hooked. I have 2 full sets and numerous ones of those that I use the most often. I like to leave a hook with the project I am working on so that if I need to set it aside for some reason, I don’t have to remember what size hook I was using.

The way in which I crochet, I suffered from hand and wrist fatigue. I did not realize the difference there is between Clover Amour Steel Crochet hooks and others. I love these hooks. They are incredibly smooth to the fingers and to the yarn/thread with which I am working. They remind me of the steel lace hooks left to me by my grandmother. Of course, the grandmother's hooks are not ergonomically made for hand fatigue, which is one of the reasons I purchased the Clover hooks. I was pleasantly surprised that the handle was shorter than the ones I have. I really like this hook. I will be ordering more in the future.

Clover Amour are the best crochet hooks I've used! They slip through the stitches like butter, and the grip is so comfy (I use the knife holds for my hooks)! Cheaper hooks just can't compare. I'm also really glad to have found this particular size I really needed in this brand!

I have carpal tunnel and the extra cushion around the handle really helps. Will be buying other sizes of this hook.

People have different preferences for hooks, but Armour Clover hooks at really great when the yarn is unplied. It never splits the yarn. Was great to be able to buy the exact size I wanted and receive so quickly so I could start my project without delay.

My favourite hooks! My first time working with lace weight yarn and they’re amazing as usual.

I've been searching for the perfect crochet needle this size for crocheting locs and finally I found it. I ordered another just now to have as a spare.

I don’t know what makes this hook different from cheaper ones, but it is very different. To look at, and to the touch, the handles are similar and the hooks are similar but in use they are very different. The handle is just the right shape for my hand, the yarn flows smoothly over the hook with no snagging or splitting and it makes crochet even more of a pleasure. I bought one, to try, not really expecting it to be any different from others I’ve bought before which are much cheaper. I bought a second one in a different size and I’ve now ordered the set. I have a large collection of steel hooks, bought over the years but my older hands struggle to hold those. With the Clover hook I can crochet for hours without discomfort. If you love crochet but are irritated by inferior hooks or are struggling to grip the thinner hooks, don’t hesitate; these are worth every penny.
