Frosted Pvc Non Slip Home Office Chair Mat - Hard Floor And Carpet Protection

Didn't like that it came rolled up and covered in cellotape. It took 2 of us an hour to try and peel the tape off which then left the mat stickey. Then the mat was curled up we had to wrestle it to the floor and have books on it for weeks to try and keep it flat, was a tripping hazard at first. Was very tempted to send it back. Wont be getting another one like this.

The annoyance that who ever packed this used brown parcel tape to stop it unrolling.Took ages for this to flatten out as well.Don't find it overall grips the carpet, could be the type of carpet.I don't expect this took last too long as there are already dents in the mat from the chairs wheels, if you move the chair slightly forward them you roll back into the dents!For the money is OK, but long-term maybe best to spend a little more?

They're protecting my floor and are very durable but they need to be weighed down by something on a red-carpet floor - they're slippery as heck and I've nearly wiped out a few times. Also create loads of static. Not sure I'd do it again.

Office chair moves easier so not pulling on my back as much.Best suited to a carpet that has at least a short pile.

It's quite a bit more lightweight than the worn one (13 years old and used virtually every weekday) that it is replacing and therefore may not be as durable for the long term. That said, it is very well priced and the postage was included so I don't expect it to last 13 years in continuous use.

Advertised as being suitable for hard floors and whilst it might protect our oak floor from damage it has a dimpled hard plastic underside that means it slides around the floor under my office chair rather than stay in one location - I am sure it would be great on carpet

Good size and very durable. Does ‘walk’ somewhat on the carpet - annoying but liveable with

Wuld recommend some kind of carpet grip to help it stop sliding about.
