Island Gale® Luxury 2 Person Outdoor, Patio, Hanging Wicker Swing Chair (X-Large, Charcoal Rattan/Latte Cushion)

Item was delivered by Fed Ex freight. Swing came packed very well, you need a large area to have it delivered. Couldn't find the hardware because there were no instructions provided. The hardware was later located inside the tubes. Biggest issue is the poor powder coating. When I contacted customer service, I was told that the swing gets powder coated in China and that they would have to check with their vendor. First, I would never disclose the swing gets powder coated in China because they use poor quality powder. Secondly, you can see from the pictures the poor welding they did. Also, the chain should have been powder coated to match the swing, yet they did not. paying over $1,000 for this swing and having a poor paint job, I do not recommend purchasing this swing. They packaged this swing before the paint was completely dry, causing the packaging material to stick and remove the paint. See pictures for reference. Island Gale never got back to use about the poor paint quality. I have to pay $200 to have it sandblasted and powder coated again.

The fedex guy told me I won’t be able to fit it in elevator or door and it comes in 200 lbs cage. He told me I need to get 2 strong men to carry it. I got so scared I was about to return it. But then I saw it’s actually not heavy. I removed it from cage and dragged piece by piece in my small patio or my small apartment. Very easy to install. It’s just like in my dreams. One customer complained about the metal on metal noise. I fixed that by adding double sided tape on the strings on top.

Great initially. Now 3 years old and fabric is disintegrating and frame is rusting will need to hire to get it powder coated. New cushion will cost 269.00. This swing was over 850.00 and I cover it every winter and it’s on my covered deck. Very disappointed!
