Slim RaySwiftwater Rescue Field Guide

Just got out of Swift Water Rescue Tech 1 class and added this to my PFD for quick review. Even better its on waterproof pages.

I bought this for my father because he is heavily involved in the search and rescue field in the United States and in China. He also has a nice office library set up and has been expanding his collection. Great book, great addition!

i just finished a whitewater rescue course and wanted a quick review. This work perfectly. The guide is published on rainwrite paper so it is water resistant. If you need an a quick reference this is a good item. No book or video should be a substitute for whitewater rescue instruction.

This book is a constant passenger on my cataraft. Fortunately I have not had to use its wealth of knowledge but some day, if I do, I'll have with me to help bail me out of a sticky (or worse) situation. A great, practical resource.

Very informatable

Very informative guide however there is a mistake with the Z-Drag illustration. The second prusik is shown on the wrong side of the line. It should be on the load side. Hopefully no one is setting it up the incorrect way as illustrated in the field guide.

As title suggests a Field Guide not comprehensive of course but a good solid guide and reminder of your training and techniques all in all a good book and worth keeping as a handy reference on any shout.
