Clinical trails have been done using a derma roller (2-3 time per week) and minoxidil (daily) and results are best when using a 0.6mm roller 2-3 and waiting 30 minutes after procedure before applying the minoxidil on the rolling days

Q: Can someone tell me if the length of the needles vary as well as the thickness of the needles? So are the 0.25 needles shorter than 0.50 and 0.75?

Generally speaking the measurements given are the length of the needles - so you know how far they are penetrating into your skin. For example: 0.25mm will go that distance into your skin. 0.5mm will go in twice as deep, and so should not be used on sensitive areas or as often. 1mm is for use on your body. It is not recommended for your face at all. Ask the supplier if you are not clear about this. A good supplier will explain this.
