Product Description STRATAFIX Spiral PDO Device comprised of dyed PDO is indicated for use in soft tissue approximation where use of absorbable sutures is appropriate. In vitro studies demonstrate for needles 3-0 and larger, the STRATAFIX Spiral PDO device retains about 80% of original strength at 2 weeks and about 40% to 70% at 6 weeks post implantation. For needles 4-0 and smaller, it retains 67% of the original tensile strength after two weeks, approximately 50% at 4 weeks, and approximately 37% at 6 weeks. STRATAFIX Spiral Devices provide smooth tissue passage and a secure hold that helps control tension and achieve excellent tissue approximation.
