Maidens, Myths and Mermaids - 40 Stained Glass Patterns Paperback – Illustrated, May 15, 2007

I love these fantastic patterns. They are complex looking but not difficult. There is a lot of movement in the designs and they look like rippling water in the mermaid designs. I am looking forward to choosing glass and getting started!

Love this book! Only a portion of the book is mermaids. The rest all have a medieval or renaissance feel. The patterns are very ‘doable’. This was my first piece outside of class

I was excited to find this book and got a decent price on it at Amazon. I wanted patterns with Mermaids in it to do some glass panels for my home. I was a little dis-appointed that it did not have more Mermaids and less Maidens and Myths. If I had been able to see the book before I purchased it, I might have still bought it, but then again might not. It will be worth the price if I do just one panel out of it.

it's ok. all of the patterns are super complicated. i'm not there yet as a stained glass maker, if i ever will/can be. if you are super awesome , yes, this is totally for you. if you are less than a complete BA at stained glass, skip this

I purchased this book as a gift for a friend who does intarsia wood pictures. The artwork is beautiful and the patterns are easy to follow and very clear. Two full size patterns are included also. The descriptions with each picture add to the understanding of the artwork. In one picture, they described how they learned what water turbulence looked like through their scuba diving experiences. I would recommend this book to anyone seeking mermaid and fantasy pictures and patterns.

The designs in this book are beautiful. You get one full size pattern. The others you have to enlarge yourself. It is a bit difficult for a beginner.

Didn't have as many mermaid drawings as I would have liked and you can see all of what is in it before you purchase.

Arrived before expected and in great shape. I didn't like this book. The drawing style is quite juvenile. If you want mermaid stained glass patterns, I recommend SeaFairies. Much much prettier more refined patterns. I wish I could have seen more than just the cover before purchase. I have included pictures for other to be able to make a more informed choice.
