Great product
After charging this up, I went through a couple hundred business cards in minutes. The editing software works good, but could stand some additional work. Exporting to MS Outlook is easy. Internal batteries loose their charge quicker than I would have thought, but hold up well while you are using them.

Got a trade show coming up? This works great for that.
Once you get the instructions down, it works great. Short battery life and almost no instructions for the software. Hard to find the databases but if you get it set up it can be fast. Scanner/OCR is not as accurate as the old Cardscan but it is adequate. Small, very portable. Use the removable memory.

Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money!!! No documentation for installation, www.irislink.com support is terrible, no phone-in support, no description of parts & pieces packaged in box. There was even one part I have no idea what it was and nothing to tell me what I use it for. When you call their phone number it just points you back to their website. We have all come accustomed to how poor the documentation is for Chinese made products, but this product takes it to a new low! I have owned several of the past products and was able to get them to work, but not with this product. I have more than 20yrs working in IT and for me not to be able to get this product working says it all.I should of known that this was not a reliable product when their website does not even list it under portable scanners.

Haven't Used all the features yet, but it's pretty good
This came right away. There is some confusion between the web-site and the product, because the site only goes up to 4 and the scanner/software are V5. If you try to load upgrades/updates, you get a loop. Another reviewer pointed out problems with the manual. It's thick, but only the first few pages are in English. The IrisCard scanner is not very big and it is light weight. I got it primarily because it doesn't connect to a computer when scanning. I lose so many cards and I wanted to be able to scan them in immediately. The manual doesn't explain how to prevent duplicates from uploading to the computer, so that is my test question for customer service. The scanner comes with Card Iris software. The scanner IrisCard and the software CardIris are easily confused. I am familiar with CardIris software because I used it before with my twain desktop scanner. The software is the upgrade and is included with the price of the scanner. If you are unfamiliar with the software, it can be a little confusing to learn it from the manual. Steps are missing and sometimes it doesn't agree with the program. Ver 5 doesn't actually update version 3, because it creates a different database extension. I'll have to ask if they can be merged. It took minutes to scan the cards in. They just zipped in! One of the cards had been moist, so wasn't flat. It would only go in sideways, but it came out fine. It had been turned and was one that didn't require much correction. It took hours and hours to correct them, because they all needed correction of some kind. It has a hard time with cards that have a lot of graphics, picture type fonts, are dark, etc. My hard drive crashed recently and I had a do over. No matter what they say in the hyp, don;t throw the cards away!At first the program kept crashing and I would lose the last card I was reviewing. It happened 3 times at the beginning and then settled in fine. You can't tell if the card scanned in until you upload it to the computer. They go into the file as a .gif.Once all my questions are answered and I have completed the learning curve, I think this will work fine for me. CardIris sorts on the search feature so you can find all of the "MD" or "contractor", or "dog park friend", etc. cards. Dealing with duplicates is handled well and is a snap.Let's hope it doesn't break down, because I really like it.

Nice, small, easy to use scanner
Short battery life and an ac adapter is very challenging to find for multiple scans at home but a great, easy to use product. Would surely recommend

Does not do what it says
Claims to support Microsoft CRM connection. I bought it solely for that purpose. I could not get it to work. Contacted customer service, who responded with "Yup. We can't get it to work either and have no idea when/if it will"... Talk about false advertising. It's amazing that they even keep this product on the market, as the enough IRIS company is lacking in customer service, marketing, and general developers for existing products. I'm annoyed with their lack of concern for their customers and their apathy towards getting something to work for their customers, that they claim should be working.

Great package but set instructions non existent
Scanner and software are very good (I had Iriscard 4 before - doesn't work with WIN10) but set up instructions were non-existent. Had to fight my way through internet and CD to find anything at all to help - important point is that the scanner has to be charged before it will connect/be recognised by Win10 and software.Easy to import all old databases from earlier versions and then update with new.Should be sold with some sort of cover/bag as will always be in a briefcase etc so damage to surfaces will happenMuch better than carrying wads of cardsIRIS is part of Canon group

Iris Card Aniwhere 5 me plaît três bien.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!
