Just had to fix a screw hole. I used the metal T handle file tool from the other slime kit to start cleaning the hole. Then I used the more aggressive file tool with the screw driver handle from another Slime kit. I then used this softer red Slime plug. Installed plug with the slime glue and the metal T handle tool from the other slime kits.Wish everything just came in one kit, but after fixing many tires, it’s worth to buy the three different items.

sometimes it seems like I'm the only one who still repairs stuff, sigh.I got a nail in a tractor tire, didnt have any plugs, so I splurged for the "name brand" slime plugs. They worked great, zero leakage.I'll get these again when I need more.

I have yet to have a red plug from Slime not work. They always hold and seal off the puncture. I use a heavy-duty rasp and thoroughly clean the puncture with it. Add a dab of rubber cement to lubricate the plug for easy insertion.

I love these things. I am still driving on the plug I put in two months ago. I've used them a few times. Work like a charm. Just be sure to ream the hole a bit before jamming them in.

Product that I received was dried and had no sticky/ tacky properties to help glue it to the tire. It leaked air immediately after installing it.
