Book appeared to be up to date with social media and events. Instructor decided not to use this book after I had bought it so I didn't use it in class.

Media Impact is a text required for my coursework, and I have enjoyed the illustrations, straightforward writing style and the helpful reviews at the end of each chapter.

Boring Textbook
it was a mandatory textbook...read the first two chapters and nearly died of boredom....didn't bother with the rest of the book and still got an A in the class.

The book is a good introduction to the mass media. It is an enjoyable read and organized in a rational manner. the chapter summaries are useful to students.
