I stumbled on these while shopping for some rear car speakers of the same size. I hesitated due to the white “marine” grills, but the car is old and white, so they don’t actually look that bad (and I figure I could disassemble and spray paint them as needed.). The sounds quality is reasonably good. Not a lot of oomph in the bass notes, but can’t really expect that from any speakers this size. Overall, great value — good enough for what I need, and when I bought them, the were about the cheapest of this size I could find.

Got 4 in my barn and 4 on my camper both with a 400 watt amp. Performs very well clean audio.

I installed these speakers and two more of the same kind in my 86 subaru 4×4 wagon because the original speakers were water damaged from age and the occasional mud hole becoming too deep and now my car stereo is 5 times louder even in the swamp

I didn't want to cut bigger holes in my boat seats for six and a half inch speakers so I had to stick with 5 and 1/4. I had planned to spend a little more money and was almost afraid to buy these because they were so cheap. But the specifications and the reviews were pretty much the same as for other speakers so I thought I would try them out. I am very pleasantly surprised. They sound very nice on my pontoon boat. They get as loud as I want to listen to them and I don't notice any distortion or static. I am sure there are better speakers out there for more money but these fit my needs and sound pretty great to me. Can't beat them for the price either.

These speakers have a very small magnet and not much weight to them. They remind me a lot of the old whizzer cone speakers you would get factory in cars. They are tinny and do not play into lower octaves very well. They are very reasonably priced and do make noise but there are a lot better speakers out there.
