Forest Ecology

I rented this textbook for my forest ecology course. The textbook came in poor condition, and not in acceptable condition like it was stated at purchase. The spine is taped over a lot, and falling off, front/back book cover is ripped and shredded in some parts. Definitely not worth the almost $60 I spent to rent it. A reimbursement would be appreciated in any sort of way.Other than the condition of the book, the curriculum taught in the book will be a delight!

If you don't know your phenotype from your genotype, have no fear - this text begins with the basics before taking you through beginning and intermediate topics. I found the text engaging and not too dry (for a technical book - if you were looking for strictly entertaining, you probably wouldn't be here, right?).

I was required to purchase this text for a class. I am highly unimpressed and have suggested the teacher look for new material in coming semesters. Good luck if you have to read this.

I had to buy this for required reading, don't really remember much of it but I know that it was very informational.

A little bit complicated with concepts but overall is great resource for the class

I bought it used. It came with 2 giant rental stickers and it had me confused because I knew I bought it used. Also the book is roughed up but mainly the stickers are horrible.

This particular reference book does a very good job explaining the fine details involved with forest ecology. I recommend anyone going into the environmental science field look in to buying this.

Was the same condition as brand new, pages were crisp, no writing, no ware, no damage what so ever !
