RHS Complete Seed Mix Bird Feed 2KG

It's been incredible. I've been shouting "Time for seeds!" At 7pm and coming out with a mug full to refill the feeder and sprinkle on the grass, and the cacophony of very excited birds has been amazing. The only downside is that the bag lasted maybe 5 days tops because the birds were just scarffing it down, then complaining at the window for more. We got it because we know (by the sound) that the sparrows, jacdaws and coal tits have just started having hatchlings, so have been a bit more food heavy. Hopefully this means the babies have all had a great start!

Delivered on time and such value for money. Goes well with my little suction bird feeder (I love in a flat at the moment). Great assorted selection of seeds for the birds. A new restaurant is in town! 😊

Nice looking seed mix and the birds seem keen. Problem was the bag split as soon as I picked it up. Good product, poor packaging.

Good quality feed with a real mix of seed. All I need to do now is work out how to lure the birds into my garden and get rid of the pesky cats

I have been buying this multiple times and the birds love it.

I have had a number of batches of this mix and it has seemed reasonably popular with birds. However, the latest batch contained whole peanuts (never had this before) which are completely inappropriate for bird tables and ground feeders, especially in spring. If parents feed whole peanuts to their chicks they can choke or otherwise not digest them. Whole peanuts should only go into mesh feeders so birds can pick bits off them. It was annoying to have to pick through to remove the peanuts, in what was otherwise a much better variety of seed in the batch than previously. It is however a bit strange that each batch is so different.

I could mention value for money, not too bad.I would love to mention flavour, I didn’t try it myself being human and not feathered but I asked the sparrows and they said tweet, the Robin also said tweet too.Manoeuvrability, well… I can pick up the bag and manoeuvre it to a new location, so 5 stars there too.

I have a bird feeding station. I use suet balls, meal worm pellets and other mixes.For some reason, the birds are not interested in this mix. Everything else on the feeder is being replenished every few days.I can only conclude that the birds don't like it.🙁🐦
