Night of the Bats! (Minecraft Woodsword Chronicles #2)

Child who usually doesn't like to read has gotten into this book and series. Thankful for this book for that reason.

Absolutely the best buy, if your child is into Minecraft! I needed a different way of relating to my son other then playing Minecraft. This book series was perfect for encouraging my 7 year old to read over the summer. We are on book 4 and I ordered the 5th book just mins before leaving this review. He gets to explain the Minecraft jargon in the book as we read. The story line is interesting and keeps you wanting to read the next chapter! More then worth it!

My six year old Minecraft fan and I have spent the past couple weeks reading chapters of this book together and I couldn't be more pleased with it. Like the first title in the series, it's got an entertaining, well-written plot that is age-appropriate for younger Minecraft fans, and great illustrations. The physical book is good quality and sturdy. I definitely recommend this for grade school aged kids and their parents, and I am pre-ordering the next one in the series right after I hit submit on this review!

Purchased book for son who is a Fam of Minecraft.

She gets up and reads a chapter or two every morning and is so excited about reading it because she plays the game. The stories are great. I read books 1-3 as well. Yes, I am an adult and I liked them too! They encourage my kids to get on minecraft and figure out how to build some really cool things.

Our 8 year old son loved this series. He keeps asking if a 4th book is ever going to be released. These books are a great! They're adventurous, age-appropriate (didn't have to censor anything while reading it like I do with many other book series [DOAWK, dogman, etc]) and even a little educational.

My 11 year old and 9 year old love this series! It’s a great book to read aloud and there are pictures to look at about every other page. The storyline kept me interested too :-)

We bought this book having been lucky enough to be asked to review another book from he same series (which our 7 year old absolutely adored). This book is just as good as the first, what young Minecraft fan doesn't want to be able to go into the game! Great book for reluctant readers, my nephew who does not usually like to read is now reading the first book and he can't wait to get his hands on this one too!
