I love it! I use it to help me with squat balance and cardio.

Major flaw
This bag is sturdy. 2 major flaw. The handles have very little space to slide hands under. If you are doing a flip move you can easily damage ur wrists. They should have added a plastic hang grip as well. I loved the bag but cannot use because of the hand space. Someone with large hands cannot use properly.

Sturdy, Easy to Hold 10 lb Multi- Exercise Bag
Several family members recently had the opportunity to use the Lifeline Combat bag, Black/Red 10 lb size on a regular basis.Pros:It is very sturdy and well made. It is also very comfortable to hold on your shoulder while doing various exercises, and easy to hold/grip. I like that you can use it for different exercises. It is a bit large in size to use this way for a 5'7" woman (but still doable) but fine for a 6'+ man. The bag has different straps on it so you can do a variety of exercises with it. I focused on deadlifts, squats, lunges, curtsy lunges and some ab workouts. It was easy to use and a lot softer on the hands than a metal weight. The neoprene weights are still my first option but this bag was just as comfortable to hold. I focused on deadlifts, squats, lunges, curtsy lounge and some ab workouts. It was easy to use and a lot softer on the hands than a metal weight. The neoprene weights are still my first option but this bag was just as comfortable holding as those. Cons:It really depends on your fitness level; it could be a problem if you are adding more than a 10 lb weight. I ended doing a high number of low weight exercises and the bag was fine. This might be a better fit for someone who either does more reps with lighter weights or who works out less frequently. This is a good product, but for us, a little smaller and a little heavier would have been a better fit.

Good concept for core workout, but not a lot of use at the smaller weight.
If you're here for a serious workout, don't get the 10 lber.I received the 10 lb. bag for review. It's a decent addition to a light work-out, but not really heavy enough for anything substantial. The bag is quite well constructed - very sturdy with secure seams and handles. It will add a bit of extra challenge to your existing exercises, but is not likely to be of much use as an added weight to your workout at 10 lbs. - at least, not if you're already in shape.I'll note that the one-size-fits-all-approach has challenges. I'm 5'2" (almost 5'3"!) and this bag is a big large for me to comfortably work with. My son and husband (both around 6', give or take an inch) find it much more comfortable for their frames. For the 10 lb. bag, I would suggest considering wrist weights or hand held weights. The concept is good, but at the heft a less bulky system is likely to provide just as much bang for your buck...with easier storage to boot. That said, even at this size it will offer you some core benefits if you're not already in decent shape.

Big and bulky, but of questionable use
I am not particularly sure why this product exists. I train Brazilian Jiujitsu, so I'm always on the lookout for new workout gear, but it seems like you could replicate all of the workouts featured on this product with traditional gym gear such as kettlebells and free weights. I suppose this would be useful if you wanted to throw around something big and bulky, so 10lb seems a bit light. That being said, build quality is good; it doesn't feel like it's going to tear if you accidentally whip it against the wall during a workout. In the end, this is probably most useful for folks who are into grappling sports and are looking for something big and beefy to throw around, but definitely start at 30lb.

Great Tool for a Productive Workout
I really enjoyed this item for review. It’s a 10lb “pillow” you can use to work out instead of weights. it’s a heavy duty item, almost the size of my torso, so it was easy to get my arms around and use to vary my workout. If you are used to using weights - this is a great variation tool. It also comes with links to see tutorials to maximize the usage.I like that it is heavy duty, I won’t be ripping this thing, or breaking it when I accidentally fling it across the room. I might break my tv - but the pillow is holding up.It was also challenging. I would like to have a heavier version, but I was given 10 lbs, so go with what you are normally working with.

Just not feelin' it.
I think the idea is a good one, but for me there's too much "play" when I try to use the combat bag in a workout. I have a good grip on it, but the handles are long enough that the bag flops around and I have no control. Maybe that's the "shock your muscles" part of the workout.I'm going to keep working with it for a while and see if I can get used to it. If so, I'll come back and add to my review.Other than that, it seems like it's a quality product that will last.
