These bags are definitely heavy duty. I had a bit of a problem getting the slider to slide and close the bag. But once sealed the contents stay nice and fresh. The problem is I can't see through the bag to tell what's inside if the veg isn't big - like herbs. I haven't tried to write on the bags but they said you can write on them with a white board pen. They are a bit of a challenge to clean - they don't like to stay open. And, the bags are kind of small and pretty expensive.

The ziplock seal is accomplished by "sliding" a hard plastic piece across the top of the bag. It IS possible to do, but not easy!! Extremely tight .... but then you would expect it to be if it's leak proof. So if you're a big strong buff young man, these are probably great. But I'm not, so I just have to wrangle them into submission ~ hard to do with a bag full of food! They sit (and most likely will remain) stacked neatly in a drawer.

The large size is a little bigger than we need (there’s only 2 of us); I will likely purchase the 3 small 1 large when I order next. I really like the reusable, non leak bag idea

As advertised! These are great, I use them to freeze everything from fresh made marinated meat, homemade soups to salads. I have a bottom drawer freezer so standing them upright works perfectly with their wide bottom when full.Storing them is another plus as they lay flat allowing for space saving storage.Cleaning can be a bit tricky with greasy food residue (think chili) in the bottom creases; I simply let very hot soapy water stand inside using a brush or rough sided sponge to do the job.I store mine with a paper towel folded in the bottom of the crease so that there is no moisture left.This is the perfect and best kitchen gadget I have ever bought. No more spilling everything on the counter or baggies when trying to pack leftovers. It holds the bags provided wide open but regular zip lock bags work in the stand just as good.

The slider was very hard to remove, but after receiving instructions on how to open it properly from the company it became quite easy to use it. I was excited to use it because it’s environmentally friendly. I would like to thank Gadgetsology for sending me a brand new set and owning respect for their commitment. I’m excited to share this food bags reusable silicone to my friends here in the Philippines.

The bag was very easy to use the bars slight pretty easily. Are used it to warm up my food in the microwave and also stored my soup which indeed he was leak proof
