I run a typography and hand lettering artist. I use this chipboard for shipping cards and backings for my stationery. I LOVE this chipboard! I purchased these to use for scrapbooking. The album I have is 6x12 so I did need to cut these in half, but that was easily accomplished with a rotary paper cutter.These are very thick and sturdy and provide nice support for heavy items. The black color also sets off lighter items nicely and makes them really pop.These do, however, shed for some reason, so be prepared for random bits of black cardboardy pieces falling off the edges when you take them out of the package.Overall, if you are looking for a high quality, matte black background for scrapbooking, this is a lovely option and I certainly recommend it.

This stock medium weight board is perfect. My friends and I are using it to make scrapbooks with. This board is not flimsy at all. I have reordered it and will be again because I have used almost my first pack and I like be how the books are coming out, so I don’t want to run out.I put 1 star on the light weight only because this is medium weight craft board (cardboard)

I was very disappointed to see that it wouldn't work well with intricate cuts. As you can see in the pictures, it started to rip as the Cricut Explore Air 2 started the more tinier of cuts. I was able to make use of the stack I got, which I'm satisfied with. For those who don't have a Cricut Maker, I suggest creating your own material and setting it at 350 w/ 4 cuts and using a deep cut blade. It doesn't go through all the way, but enough to make a difference.

RE: Grafix Medium Weight 12 Inch by 12 Inch Chipboard Sheets, Black 25/PackageI needed good quality, heavy weight chipboard to make dividers for my stamp and die collection. Previously I used matboard; but the large sheets were difficult to manipulate and cut. This Grafix chipboard is easier to handle and cut, less expensive, and is maintaining its rigidity. I also wanted something that would withstand multiple layers of wet mediums to use as the base for creating multi-medium artwork. This chipboard meets all my requirements. I will be purchasing more black in the near future, also the white and natural. FYI: This is solid black - front, back and core.

I liked this product and think it was a good value. I would recommend to others to use. One thing folks have brought up in other reviews is thickness. This material measure .050 inch Thick and provided the stiffness I needed.I needed this material to cut out parts on a laser cutter. Cuts nicely. The only thing I would bring up is there is a fine powder after cutting so be prepared to clean this up some. Otherwise works great with a laser cutter.One thing the supplier needs to be aware of was one corner of the stack of material was dented. This wasn’t really bad but it rendered some of the material useless. I recommend shipping in a box and not a bag.

I bought this so I could make my own mini-albums and notebooks for craft fayres. This is very good quality chipboard which is easy to cut (I use my Fiskars trimmer to cut one side, flip it over and then cut through the other side). Although there are cheaper packs of chipboard available I think these are vfm because you get a decent quantity and at a good size (I bought the 12"x12" black chipboard). 100% will buy again.

It is very good for a hand made album.Should be protected better as the corners was broken. I made my album smaller than 12" which helps to cut the broken corners.

Black cardboard.How do you write a review about that. It did the job I bought it for that's all I can say.
