No Slip Oval Pad - Keep your Mattress from slidding off boxspring

I thought I would be getting some sort of tacky, super-secret space-age foam; what I got was a big oval sheet of run-of-the-mill half-inch foam. I'd be OK with that if it worked as advertised, and maybe this thing works best between a mattress and a box spring (although in 40+ years of sleeping, I've never seen a mattress slide off a box spring), but in my case the improvement is marginal at best.We have a memory foam mattress atop a queen-size platform bed; the veneer on the platform is very slick, so even though it's very heavy, the mattress tends to slide around. (The first time I got into the bed, the mattress slipped so much that I hit my head on the headboard.) The Sleep Tight pad sticks nicely to (against) the underside of the mattress, but although it's not as severe as before, the mattress still slides around on the platform. Again, the improvement is very slight. One could make the case that it's my fault because I'm using it "not as directed"--that is, between a mattress and box spring. I'll take a few days to evaluate the pad, but I think for my purposes, something like  Grip-It Shelf and Drawer Liner  would be better.Note to Sleep Tight: The correct spelling is *sliding* (one d).

It did not work 100 per cent of the time.

This is a foam pad, so you could probably get the same result from some lightweight foam from Joann's fabric. I'm not sure what the coat difference would be.My husband is quite a bit heavier than me and the mattress is forever sliding off his side. This stopped that immediately.

This does not keep the mattress from slipping as advertised. My mattress doesn't slip as much as it did but this makes moving it back tougher. I do have protective covers on the mattress and box spring, this might be why this does not work for me, I'm not sure. If you have protective covers on your mattress and box spring, this will not work for you.

A very creative picture of the product as the cheap piece of foam is see through and of a cheap grade. The only thing you are paying for is the dye to cut the oval. Save your money.

Bed doesn't slide on the box spring anymore. Simple and great.

This does not work. I wasted my money and it was not cheap. I should have trusted the majority of the reviews on this one.
