For me the important factors are...-Comfort (not constricting in the foot, and at a good calf height so it's not lower on the calf and too tight, or higher up and bunching up behind the knee)-Material (breathable so I don't get too hot with long socks on, elastic and comfortable yet seemingly very durable, good stitching so that there is no fraying or tearing)That's basically it for me... I don't need very much compression. As I said, I've been looking for a long time for a pair like this that might take the place of some Dr Scholl's stockings I have (that have lasted me a long time with consistent use). They changed the material they use now and aren't as elastic and are thicker as well. However, these seem to fit the bill and I'm really glad to finally have found some.The one thing that bothers me is the price... if these hold up as my previous pairs have, then it's worth it.

These have become my sock of choice. I had heart valve surgery a few yrs ago and have needed to wear compression socks ever since. It has taken me a VERY long time to find my best fit. I am a tall woman who wears a size 10 shoe and these are the only socks that reach all the way up to my knees. The socks are too long in the foot area but that does not bother me at all - I would rather have excess around my toes than a sock that doesn't reach my knees. I wear these every day and now my husband does as well.

Bought these for my mom who currently has DVT. The socks were super easy to get on, and even come with directions. She says they are comfortable and she doesn’t even notice they are on. That’s a win!

I acquired edema after having pneumonia and gaining weight. These socks are a miracle. Almost immediately, my swelling went down. Within a couple days, I experienced great relief. With these socks, I can tie my shoes again.Also, I noticed no difference in size between the "XL" and the "Extra Large", as mentioned in the description. Normally, I wear a size 13 EEE wide shoe. These socks do very well. They take some work to put on, but as the insert says, they're "worth the work".

Used these socks on a very recent trip to South America and they were both comfortable and effective. After the longest flight there might have been a little ankle swelling but 85-90% less than when I last flew without these compression socks. So far so good.

I bought these for long international flights. They are certainly helpful, after multiple flights with connections, my legs and feet did feel much better than without the socks. Just a head's up, they are a "dress sock" type sock. Doesn't really go with my travel attire, and don't provide any cushioning, but are thin and light enough to wear under another pair of socks.

I purchased these compression stockings to help with leg swelling due to fluid retention. I am on my feet for extended periods of time, and was experiencing a lot of extra pressure and stress on my lower legs and ankles. Since using these stockings, they have greatly reduced the swelling and redness associated with the stress. I recommend this product to those experiencing the same.

These are just what I have been looking for: true over-the-calf socks, with light compression, so that I am supported firmly but not strangled into sausage sections( and so that I can actually put them on without straining myself to a stroke); and they stay up. Great product for men needing a moderate-compression stocking.
