Used this in a car interior ambient lighting project. Controller is pretty standard SP bluetooth device, always connects to my car automatically, the ignition auto power on and saving the last LED color is nice. The app was called SceneX but now goes by BalanX as of Sept 2021. The app UI is nice and clean, although it's more setup for a home use. The zones were great for setting up the interior, I do wish the theme options were customizable, ideally I'd love for the ability to create your own animated themes, or at least modify the colors of the presets. Also, the static custom color option is great, but I wish there were a few more slots. One main complaint, is the lack of support for RGBW LEDs. I hope they continue to update the app, because this was the last attempt at a cheap controller before a full Arduino. I kept this in the car for the last 6 months with zero issues, but I may still switch to a custom controller to get full control and RGBW support

By using Note 8 for setting up I found it was difficult due to no manual and online resources. Spent around 45 mins with amazon support and they didn't have any documentation as well. So I got lucky I tried six zeros and went in. After I got connected the other challenge is the app " Magic-LED". You must hit all allow or else the app won't work at all. The app is so terrible functionality wise. When you are connected NEVER if possible to click BACK or else you will be disconnected, after disconnected, it will run the scan again and you have to try around 4 to 6 times before you can connect again. I am using 8211B SPI LED and customized configuration. The only configuration to work is to make it GRB and TM1804. I hope this helps. I am giving 3 stars at least it is working but too hard and not user friendly at all.

Works well and very user friendly. Would give 5 stars if i could change the colors of the programs and it came with a sheet explaining what the programs are

These work great for ws2811 strips. Used them to run the lights in my boat.Controller audio port does give feedback though so keep that in mind

Great piece of equipment. No issues connecting to it or it dropping once I connect to it. Controls my Christmas displays without issues. Great value for the money. However, some of the light routines are very similar.

Everything works as expected. My daughter is super happy. I connected about 550 leds, with 3 segments and the signal arrives correctly.
