Perfect large playmat! My 6 month old son outgrew our small activity may so I was looking for something larger and much thicker. I have hardwood floors so I wanted something with padding so my boy could roll around. This may is perfect! Thick enough that if he's sitting up and falls over he doesn't get hurt. Also, it's large enough that we both can lay on the mat together, which makes it comfortable for myself!I also really like that you can take the cover off and wash it. The mat itself is covered in a waterproof material so you just have to throw the cover in the wash to clean.Lastly, the quality is very nice that I know I will be able to use this for years to come!

With a set of twins and a four year old in our house, we spend a lot of time on the floor. I went through several different less expensive options to protect them from our hardwood floors. Everything ended up returned due to thickness, toxic odor, etc. until I finally bit the bullet and purchased this.Pros*The mat itself is incredibly comfy for both myself and the twins. The twins have tipped over from the seated position and not hurt themselves. Yay! They are also able to gain traction to practice crawling. My four year old also climbs on to it and rests which he never does anywhere else! Even I have been known to lay my head down and take a nap on it.*Waterproof - the foam piece is neatly enclosed in a waterproof cover. It's effective against the constant reflux from my twins. The cotton cover that goes on top of this has naturally allowed some liquids to bead up on top so I can quickly wipe it away.*Made in the U.S. - Production in the US is incredibly expensive, so I'm happy they were able to manage this.Cons*The zipper - I wish it had a slight envelope cover over it simply to hide it from view. When I put the babies on this they went straight for the zipper. I think in the future they will do this after sending this feedback to the company.*The organic cotton cover allows a lot of fuzz, lint, hair, and so on to cling. On advise from the owner, I have started using our little handheld vacuum cleaner to suck those up when I pick up at night. It has done a lot to keep it cleaner. This is just the nature of using an organic cotton product.For me, the price is well worth the value of what I'm getting out of it. While I'm sure I could attempt to make something similar, let's be honest, it would never be as well done as this. Besides this simple fact, the company is amazing in their customer service and commitment. When I wrote the owner about the product, she read my comments and responded. How often does that happen?!Enjoy!

I love this mat. It is so soft and gives just enough cushion on hard flooring. I hesitated at first to buy the more expensive Baby Bello Organic Mat, but decided to since the mat itself was already waterproof. I am so glad I did. The mat itself has a soft vinyl feel to it, and does not give a plastic crunch when you are walking or sitting on it even with it being waterproof. The covering over the mat is great, and I love being able to take it off to wash it. I didn't believe the reviews saying this mat has no smell at all, but I 100% agree. The mat does not put of any strange odors at all. I would say this mat is a great size, and perfect for my toddler. I have severe back problems so being able to actually sit on the floor and play with my child without severe pain has been amazing. My only regret is that I did not buy this mat sooner when my child was still a baby. Now we have the mat outside of the toddler crib for when he falls out of bed at night to help cushion his fall. When the mat arrived from amazon the carry case was tore, but the customer service for Baby Bello is amazing and sent us a new cover without having to return the whole mat. Thank you Baby Bello for taking the time to make something so great.

I'm VERY disappointed with the cover that comes on this mat. I washed it on cold and hung it up to dry, only putting it in the dryer the next morning on low to fluff it up, and it shrunk! Note that the washing instructions say "wash cold and tumble dry low." I hung dry it specifically to avoid shrinking since I'd seen previous reviews mention the issue. It shrunk to the point that the mat now curls up inside it and doesn't lay flat on the floor. A replacement cover costs $80?! Ridiculous. Very disappointed. Baby Mushroom should pre-wash their fabric before sewing to prevent this from happening.

My kid is now three. We got probably hundreds of items since she was born. This is one of the best purchases we made overall!Not inexpensive but so so worth it. We put it by her bed and sit on it every single day for years. Now we sit on it for story time.It’s pretty comfy to sleep on. My kid for a long while needed me to sleep next to her bed in order to fall asleep - so I slept on it a lot. And so did my wife. And it was pretty comfy. And it held up really well all these years. We bought another mat for the living room - and it has not held up as well - not even close, in that the other mat got permanently dented by our body shape over time. The baby mushroom mat has not gotten dented in that way.Given that my kid and I spend so much time on the mat, and it’s next to her bed for all the hours she sleeps, it gives me peace of mind that the mat is very safe from a chemical point of view.Highly recommended.

This mat is nice and thick but I wish I did more research before purchasing TWO of these! These mats claim to me non toxic but upon further research I discovered that 2/3 of this mat is made with polyurethane/chemical based foam. Only 1/3 of it it is from soybean oil. I feel duped and sad that my girls played on this mat since infancy. I wish I did more research before I spent this much only money only to expose my children to more chemicals.
