I cannot say enough about how awesome these brushes are, I absolutely lovvvvvvvvve these awesome paint brushes, love that they are short handled, love that they aren’t too soft or to stiff, they have THEE PERFECT SNAP, the perfect point that snaps back, I love that they are only 12.00, I love that they look nice AND that they are perfect for small details, love that there is a size 8 round and 10 round in the set for larger pieces too, love that they are great for beginners and pro artist. I’ve learned that if u find an art supply on Amazon that U love, order more of than one of them because they may sell out of that item or stop making it. I have some nice watercolor sets and other supplies that I grabbed last year and now they are no longer available or the price has since doubled! Do urself a favor and get at least one set of these brushes for urself or give them as a gift to so someone who paints! Love them! Incredible but for only 12.00! 👍🏾👍🏾❤️❤️

Zem brushes are amazing. I love that they take the time to package their brushes n a tube to protect the bristles. Will buy this brand again.

This 5 brush set is ideal for watercolor; I wanted a round set that wasnt too pricey; so far they are holding up well; no shedding and the ferrules are staying firm, not loose like cheaper brushes; Happy to support a small business that happens to be in my area

I really like this brush set. They are very well made. Ferrules are nicely crimped and handles look good. All have good shape and come to sharp point. The Synthetic hair is soft and feels good when you paint with them. Over all, they are excellent brushes. Better than any student grade brush I have seen.

I hecking love these brushes!! They are so soft but stiff enough that you have a good amount of control. I have used them both for watercolor and gouache and they performed amazingly! I find myself reaching for these over my more expensive watercolor brushes. 10/10 would recommend!

Bought these for granddaughter to use with kids watercolor to replace those fat sloppy mops that come with most kids sets. I've used these with her when we paint together, they are a dream to paint with for both watercolor and acrylic. They remind me of artist quality taklon watercolor brushes.

For "student grade" brushes, this versatile set of six, is a very good value, even with reasonably priced shipping. Kudos to ZEM for shipping promptly. I received several days early and the brushes came very carefully packaged in a box. I highly recommend this company for all your student/craft brush needs. My only suggestion...and this is so minor that I probably should let it pass...the brush number, rather too small, is near the ferrule. Students and crafters often do not have an artist's instinct to clean well or automatically know by habit to pick up, say, their #6 brush. Wood handles can get stained or covered with paint in the ferrule area. I think it would be a great idea to place the brush number as far away from the business end as possible. On these ZEM brushes, near the top, there is plenty of room for an even larger number. Otherwise, great value. I would buy more from ZEM.

This is my second purchase from this brand! I first purchased the cat's tongue set and I loved them! So I wondered if they have round brushes, which luckily they have so I purchased them quickly.Ive been looking for a brush that works well with gouache and this is it! It doesnt shed and stays in form after using. Of course, they're also perfect for watercolor. I havent used them long enough to vouch for the durability but they're great and I use them more than my expensive branded brushes.I highly recommend it.
