The pressure indicator will change depending on the ambient temperature, the pressure at 20 Celsius is approximately 2 bar, and the pressure at 90 Celsius is approximately 10 bar. The system cannot slowly leak down or loose pressure like a conventional fire extinguisher. If you cannot see an air bubble in the line, the system is empty and should be replaced. The HFC-236fa clean extinguishing agent does not leave a residue, conduct electricity, corrode or cause shock damage. This makes the clean agent solution the right choice for sensitive devices.

Worth the money
What can I say about this product, it arrived and is exactly as advertised. The product came with excellent instructions on testing and fitting, and everything need to install the product was supplied in the box.I cannot attest to how well it works, and I hope to never find out, but the testimony of other buyers & the online video demonstration lead me to feel secure that this product will work as intended.I fitted it to a VW Bus which are very prone to engine compartment fires, so this makes me feel much safer...

The product is exactly as described and arrived quickly. Installation is simple. The hard part is deciding where to put it. We have had the system installed in the engine compartment for about 500 miles under various conditions including steep mountain grades and city traffic without issue. It offers great peace of mind as a "first response" but we still carry a standard fire extinguisher.

If you want engine fire insurance without the fire, this is it.
Cannot give this product a true rating since the fire surppressing chemical contained therein must be deployed before one can see if it was effective as advertised. I purchased this product as an insurance for putting out any fire started in my VW Bus engine compartment & saving major damages to the engine/vehicle. I hope a fire never starts so only must rely on the good reviews & videos others submitted to see how good it worked at immediately extinguishing fires in the engine. FYI, this product was difficult for me to install properly without interfering with or touching anything on the engine while the engine compartment was completely closed. Takes time & patience to do it right.
