Quick and easy to install. Saved me a headache with wi-fi problems on my work laptop in a remote part of the building. Officemate had a desktop and we needed to share an Ethernet connection. Lazy IT person said oh find somewhere else to work!

Theoretically, connecting this Ethernet splitter should make it possible to connect either of the two lines coming out of the cable modem to either my computer OR my router and get an Ethernet signal connection OR connect both devices to this cable and get an Ethernet signal on both devices.This unit fails to do either task. In other words, this cable cannot establish a usable connection to even ONE device, let alone two.Bottom line - this supposed Splitter cable is a worthless piece of junk.

Works for what is intended.

This thing is garbage, I have used 2 thinking maybe the first one was damaged, but no it doesn't work. I am running GB internet and have two cat7 cables, supposedly this will work with it but the best connection I'm getting is 6mbps. Don't bother with this splitter.

Not what i thought it was, but great price and easy steps just dont buy it for a port does not work for 2 pcs at the same time.

This splitter when plugged into 2 pieces of equipment doesn't work. They keep going in and out of service like there is a break or defect in the adapter.

Waste money
