Update: I wore this dress four or five times and received a lot of compliments every time. Then one day just 6 months later, someone pointed out that the thread is coming off from the embroidery. It was poking up at 10-15 places! And all the thread is interconnected so it unravels. You get what you pay for. Beautiful dress but definitely not durable.Original review: I bought this in desperation for a friends wedding, after searching for hours in ethnic stores. This fit my budget and my body! Most importantly, the workmanship is very good, just like you see at the good clothing brand stores in India. I would hate to wear something that doesnt fit well or looks cheap. This looks great even at close quarter.The material is soft-ish and drapes over my curves very elegantly. It hid my winter-belly and made me look slim and tall. It was an 85 deg day and we were out dancing in the sun but the material breathed well and I didn't feel hot.The dress traveled well and didn't have too many creases. DO NOT use a garment steamer! I did and the front started crinkling up, I quickly stopped and used a cool iron instead, and that worked better to remove creases. The only problem I had with the dress was that the scarf was too slippery...I finally pinned it to my shoulder.for reference... I'm 5'3", 150lb and the M fit me beautifully. I did have to wear 2" heels to accommodate the pant length. I did have the option of rolling up the waist of the pants to fit my height in case I decided to not wear heels. Just a note, if youa re taller than 5'5", the pant might be a bit short for you, do check with the seller if they will alter the pants for you.

Where I live there isn't a big Desi population so it's very difficult trying to find clothes for parties. Normally we have to go through friends who sell clothes. I bought this outfit for Eid and am truly amazed with the quality. The material is great, the outfit is beautiful and it fits as expected. I went off of my body measurements. I'm 5'5 and weigh about 145lbs. It's not too small and not too baggy. I have long legs and the pants fit perfectly. I am so pleased with this purchase and can't wait to wear it for Eid! I'm also getting married this year and have non Desi friends who want to wear Desi clothes. I think this is the perfect outfit for them because it's so inexpensive and looks very classy.

I’m preparing to attend a wedding and this came prime and fit my budget. The workmanship is gorgeous and the large fit me perfectly, the length being perfect as well. I’m 5’5 and 155 lbs but with a DD almost DDD chest. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because when I pulled it out of the bag there was a smell of BO and upon further inspection I found it was strongest in the armpit area. So it seems like it was worn and returned but maybe not inspected? The BO smell was fairly strong so it would be hard to miss. But it is a beautiful garment and after I find a way to clean it, it should be perfect.

Dress is quite big and I want to return.I purchased it since it said free return, but when I print the return label it asks for postage now.

I messaged the seller to ask if they would customize to my size and she said she would. I thought maybe she would ask me to pay more which I was willing to do. But then she shipped it out the next day, so I don’t think it was customized. I think the material is fine, but the fitting is not great. The design is beautiful, I think it’s a gorgeous looking outfit, but not great fitting. For the price, it’s ok. I ordered a 3x. I will still wear it, but I don’t feel great in it.

I bought two of these in different colors. Absolutely love it. I am not Indian, but I love wearing Indian clothing. I attend a lot of Indian events. I usually wear formal kaftans. However it was hard for me to find something for semi-formals or less fully formal events. Queue in this outfit. I'm a curvy girl that is top heavy and it's really hard for me to find Indian outfits that fit me for this reason. Even having it sewed in India, I always have to pay extra because they always need more material. Coupled with being 5'8, buying clothes from Indian boutiques have been an issue. This is good quality material. Fit really well. People were extremely impressed. The pants could be a little bit longer but I do have the option to pull it down so it hangs below the waist. The waist band is elastic so it will grip no matter what. I wish they had more colors! I will buy more.

This outfit exceeded my expectations - it is absolutely stunning and a great value! The workmanship and material are perfect. I will be wearing it this Eid and will surely get a lot of compliments.
