A Real Step by Step
Awhile back I read WAMP It UP! by Arelthia Phillips. As a Mac user, I was reading through it because I work with and instruct many PC users. WAMP It Up was a great learning tool and I submitted my request for the Mac version of this process. The next thing I know, Arelthia published this book, MAMP It Up!I purchased MAMP It Up! as soon as it was released but I had put off developing locally because I had thought it was not something I would use and because I thought it would be difficult to maintain. Neither is true and now I FINALLY have both a live and a local environment that I can take advantage of for any of my website development needs.I am so thankful to have had access to the book while setting up my MAMP. As was the other book, MAMP It Up! is truly a real step by step guide. It has lots of images to confirm where you are in the process and to ensure you're doing it right. Most importantly, it is written in a light, easy to follow and understand format.Thanks Arelthia!
