J.R. Watkins Pure Castile Body Bar Soap With Peppermint, 8.02 Oz (SG_B00QRSNNG2_US)

Este es un jabón muy muy espumoso y nada cremoso. Su aroma tiende más a un olor de jabón neutro con un toque de menta. Si eres de las personas que gustan de salir después del baño oliendo a su jabón tal vez está no sea su mejor opción.

works well but very little peppermint scent

I use castile soap on my beard. Typically, I will use  Kirk's Natural Castile Soap Original - 4 oz Each / Pack of 3  ($3.99 at grocery store) and every now and then, if I want to splurge, I will pick up a bottle of  Dr. Bronners Castile, Peppermint 32.0 OZ  at Trader Joe's (increasingly difficult to find/purchase on Amazon for a reasonable price). Not in the mood for splurging, but in the mood for some peppermint, I decided to give this soap a try. Here are a few pros and cons:Pros:Scent (out of the box): smells great, until you use it (see below).Lather: very good. Also, doesn't dry out the skin (has olive oil).Amazon price: reasonable. Found for $3 more at a soap shop in Old Town, San Diego. Also, less expensive than Dr. Bronner 5 oz bar.Face: able to use on face (in addition to beard) without drying out skin (HUGE plus).Olive oil: skin, beard and hair love it.Size: big ol' bar of soap.Cons:Scent: peppermint = dead on arrival (once in use), negating my reason for purchasing. Sort of an odd sulfur smell when in use.Glad I tried it, but I will be sticking with Kirk's (lower cost, great lather). Still, this one bar lasts a while when used for face/beard and I love its lather. Wish it didn't have a funky stink.Will continue to purchase when the price is right.UPDATE: After 9 months of use, three times a week, the funky smell is either gone or simply not noticeable anymore. More importantly, I still have about half a bar left! Just using on my beard and face, this stuff is lasting forever. Will definitely purchase again to keep in my rotation of castile soaps.UPDATE 2: Electric Boogaloo: Out of all my castile soaps, this is my favorite to use during the fall/winter months.
