Read the instructions on the box first
This item has around an inch of concentrate in the bottom of the bottle, allowing the user to fill the bottle with tap water which then becomes softened water.Don't be alarmed (as I was) by the lack of liquid in the bottle - it's as it should be.Just read the instructions and you're ready to go.

Have not used it for long but can see no problems with it. I don't know how long it will last as I do a lot of ironing and it is not cheap. We will wait and see.
