Buying wood online is always a gamble unless you go to one of those web sites where you can pick out an individual piece, but you'll pay dearly for those. I was very happy with what I received from this company! I got 4 nice size pieces more or less comparable to what is shown. Two very interesting (twisty turny) large pieces and 2 smaller pieces that can be stacked nicely. I boiled them a few times and I'm letting them soak a little more today before gluing some java ferns to them. If there's some tannins left, so be it. Good for the fish. There are a couple sharp points I'll be sanding off, but not a big deal (I do that with every piece of wood I get). The color banding in the wood is really nice and will look great in the tank, so overall this purchase was a huge win!

My only lament is that I wish they were bigger! BUT my plecos love them and that's what matters. AND I boiled them for about 30 minutes 5 different times. Boiled, drain...repeat. I had no problem whatsoever with them turning the water brown/ releasing tannins in the pond or aquarium. I arranged them at the bottom of my 3 foot pond and they stayed put...never moved or floated to the surface and I have plenty of current in it.

I really enjoyed 3 out of the 4 pieces I received. The 3 pieces looked good and I could play around with the pieces to make them stand different ways in my tank. The one I did not like had a joint and there wasn't much I can do with it since it didn't stand correctly in my tank and just looked awkward overall (like an elbow?)- this piece was also the lighter colored piece of all the others... Overall, it's a good deal, I just wished I got a better piece.

You just never know when you're ordering driftwood sight unseen but this seller has done a very good job! The pieces arrived well wrapped, no breakage. The pieces are nicely cleaned and a decent size. Each piece is different with a nice variety of all four pieces. The wood is weighty, it'll still need to be water logged/ and boiled but the pieces will not soon deteriorate either. I'm looking forward to using this seller again for more of my aquarium needs.

Two of the four pieces I received were very interesting and unique. However, the other two were disappointing due to their simple twig-like nature. It's truly a roll of the dice as you do not know what shapes and segments you will receive. Otherwise, the wood was clean and relatively well-sized. Buying driftwood such as this is far more economical than getting anything from any local overpriced mom and pop shop or specialty aquarium store. Simply put, I don't regret the purchase; but it could have been better.

I applied tiny section cups and attached the Driftwood to the interior of my tank and grew plants on it. Perfect for the use I had intended. I will order more.

This was not what I was expecting... I can't do anything with these without tying them together to maybe make something work to hopefully for fall apart and hurt a fish. So disappointed. These pieces are so tiny too... The biggest piece not even 8 inches.It gets a Big HUGE BOO from me. Next time Ill go pick my own out in the store. Think long and hard about it before you press the Buy it button!

These are small. All pieces received were less than 8 inches. Smallest was about 5 inches.
