I have been addicted to this company's puzzles for years and own more than I care to admit. After accumulating a number of smaller puzzles I wanted the challenge of a larger one with more pieces. I was a little apprehensive about the price, but this one was absolutely worth the splurge. This is my first-ever Amazon review, but when I saw that this puzzle hadn't been reviewed yet I thought someone needed to do it!First of all, the image is very good and the details are crisp. Some of these wooden puzzles have turned out to be darker than the image on the website - owing, I presume, to the ink used - which loses some of the detail in the paintings. This one does not suffer from that problem.Second, the puzzle design is consistent and challenging. The edges of the puzzle are connected so that there aren't any gaps along the border where the puzzle pulls apart, which is a pet peeve of mine. Some of the earlier puzzles suffered more from that problem, but they seem to have fixed it in later puzzles with better design. There are whimsy pieces scattered throughout, some of which are two or three pieces connected together to make fun and surprising larger whimsies. There are numerous false edges that make a traditional "edge-first" approach almost impossible. And, to my delight, the puzzle turned out to be three separate puzzles - each triptych stands on its own (so the black border you seen in the picture doesn't actually exist in the puzzle).In sum, this is one of the best wooden puzzles out there and absolutely worth owning. It took me about a week to complete after work, without using the picture, and right after finishing it I wanted to take it apart and do it all over again!

These are great puzzles. Growing up I was spoiled by assembling wood puzzles from the 20's or 30's. While these are not hand cut puzzles like those were, they are very nice and a great value. Once you put one of these together you will not want to go back to cheap cardboard puzzles.

Lots of thought went into this one - very well designed and constructed. Great and intricate puzzle of a great and intricate painting.

If you desire a top quality and uniquely challenging puzzle, you'll want this one. It is all that and more.

Beautiful product...only improvement recommend would be to add a larger sized printed pic with the box, given so much gorgeous detail.
