Denso OE fits pefectly
A must when replacing compressors or any a/c components that may potentially be damaged. In other words cheap insurance as you need to re-charge you system after so why have to waste money and do it again? Plus compressor companies may require the expansion valve to be replaced for warranty purposes.Anyways this was for a 1998 camry v6 1mz if that matters. NO the DASH does not need to be fully removed like you see in youtube videos. Glove box needs to be removed and the blower motor assembly then you should be able to see the wrapped lines going to the expansion valve. Should take you roughly 1hr or so with basic hand tools.Fits as should plus new o-rings included. Certains parts I prefer Denso (OEM) over cheaper no name cause I don't want to take things apart again or have to pay to properly charge system again

Finally my AC is working!!!
2001 Toyota Camry LE V6, 1MZFE engine. I didn’t have AC for a over a year. The AC would work for 30 minutes tops until it would end up blowing hot air. This was on a day by day basis and whenever it would rain, the windows would fog up because I had no AC to defog the windows. First mechanic told me the compressor is going bad…. I had the refrigerant removed, replaced the compressor, charged AC back up but still had the same issue. Next mechanic told me to replace the pressure switch on top of the AC drier canister…. Refrigerant removed and replaced the pressure switch along with the AC drier canister, charged the AC back up but still had same issue. Next mechanic told me its my evaporator… however replacing the evaporator in this car requires removal of the ENTIRE dash!! A task I did not want to do. I figured I would just replace the condenser instead… Refrigerant removed, replaced the condensor, AC charged back up and still the same issue. I was determined not to remove the entire dash so I ended up ordering this Denso expansion valve part, removed refrigerant, installed the part, and had the AC charged back up and its blowing cold air like new now. All along it was a $20 part….but now I basically have a brand new AC system minus the evaporator. Cant go wrong with Denso…. Always go denso when possible. Great quality parts!!

Great OEM quality
Amazon was great with return unused item as I ended up not needing it as problem was a bad evaporator thermistor.

Fits a 2nd gen 4runner; OEM manufacturer
Replaced the sticking expansion valve in my 94 4runner with this one (also fits 89-95 Toyota pickup). The part that came out was Denso; same part number as this one and original to the truck. Charged the A/C back up and it's ice cold now.

Denso, the only way to go!
Works like a champ! I originally bought and installed a Four Seasons brand valve and it was garbage! Made terrible noises and didn't cool effectively. This Denso was perfect!

Wish it showed up in time.
The product itself appears ok. Original to the vehicle. The time delay to get it was too long even though it was in stock and prime eligible. It didn't come with the o-rings needed though. I ordered it, waited, it was delayed so I attempted to cancel. I ordered from somewhere else and that one showed up first and with orings to install so this one is a spare I guess.
