I bought this book for my sister as a retirement gift. She took it with her to Yellowstone national park and found many wonderful hikes to go on. She loved it and used it a lot.

This book has been so helpful in planning backcountry trips in YNP. We loved it so much we pretty miss ch would check out or renew regularly.This book has been a go to for every backcountry trip in YNP

I was cautious about the price at first wondering if the book was any better than others, or information I could find on the web. once I had the book I was REALLY pleased. This has been my main go to book for two trips to Yellowstone now and I wont be giving it away anytime soon. It gives clear information on what you need to do to get into the park, the permit processes, and what each campsites was really like. Worth the price and more!

Saw this at the library and bought it. It’s fantastic. Although all I think I really need is Jake’s Day Hike map of Yellowstone. That map is the bomb.

This will be my 3rd time going to Yellowstone and I wish I had this guide the first time. It lists all the pros and cons of each trail. Incredibly detailed.

Very useful guide, using this to plan our trip and it has been invaluable.

Best hiking book of Yellowstone by far! Money well spent!

I bought the book intending to bring it camping and hiking this summer. The book is far too heavy for backpacking with it, I was looking for more of a trail guide. Something to show up a map of the trails so we know where we are going as we hike. You can find all of the same info on the All Trails App for free. I wanted an actual map kind of book instead of relying on an app. This book wouldn't work for that use at all, I returned it.
