This was perfect for my speech and language students in grades 4-5
This was perfect for my speech and language students in grades 4-5. We played it through all together once, so that they could get the hang of it before trying to keep it a secret and playing on their own. That was definitely key! I needed a good deductive reasoning game, but you can't use regular Clue in a school, because it's all about murder and weapons! The kids are really into it. It is possible that slightly younger ones would get it if you did it all together. If I had middle school students I would still use it for them as well.

Way over priced and instructions are vague and lots of stuff is wrong with this game. Do not buy this game. The people characters do not have a clear avenue. There are a lot of little dashes instead of footsteps, no one is supposed to step on the steps on the board, there is really no reason to move the people at all. This is a junky game. Do not buy this product.

She likes the game and has fun playing it
I bought this game for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. She likes the game and has fun playing it. However, I think she is a little too young to play this game. I feel that this would be an appropriate game for 6-7 year olds. It reminds me of all the other "Junior" games in that things are very basic. It was a wonderful introduction for the original Clue game.

Low quality board
Board broke on the first use. Had to be taped back together :(

It is very similar to the original Clue game that I loved when I was younger
My child loves this game! It is very similar to the original Clue game that I loved when I was younger, but a much more appropriate mystery for young children to solve.

Great family activity. Good for 4 years old.
Awesome way to have fun as a family and stay away from the TV! Although age limit starts at 5, my 4-year-old does just fine, so you don't have to wait until 5.

Great introduction to older games
My 6 year old grandson loves to play games. He has really enjoyed this game. He still needs someone to help him with the writing but it is a game that is well fitted to this age group

This game is very poorly designed and quite expensive for what you get. We found the instructions even more difficult than the regular Clue game which my 6 year old niece prefers over this game. Big disappointment and feel ripped off by the game since we attempted to play on two separate occasions and just gave up because it was hard to explain to her. The parts are also not interesting like the original clue game.
