Concise and easy to get started
Hiring a sleep consultant was out of our budget so after following Natalie on Facebook for a while, I decided to try her book and see if it helped our 7 month old who was taking 30 minute naps and waking every 2 hours at night.First of all, I loved how her book was concise and to the point. We were able to read it in one night. It didn't take serveral days like other Sleep books we have read. Secondly, I loved the provided schedules and the science behind Sleep. It made me feel really comfortable about why I was doing certain things. We started her method when our boy was 7.5 months old and after the first night, his naps went from 30 minutes to 1.5-2 hours. By the fourth night he was sleeping through the night. We feel so refreshed and our little boy is in such better mood after getting good sleep.I now recommend this book to all of my friends.

This Method Works!
After reading the popular books on babies and sleep, I got tired of the repetitiousness of sleep and the importance of it and blah blah blah. I know how sleep is important, I NEED some as a new parent so tell me how to get it. This book as many reviewers have mentioned is short and sweet and only adds in what you need to know. As soon as my son hit 16 weeks I decided to implement this program. Night time was ok before but nothing to write home about, it was naps that I desperately needed help with. If you do this, be prepared for cry it out and be ready to immediately tackle naps the next day and to be home bound for 48 hours. The first night was brutal with the CIO but after that one night my son has been sleeping 7-7 straight through. Naps have been a challenge but that was to be expected. If your budget allows for it, I highly recommend plunking down for a membership for additional information and support to make this process a little easier. I've run into snags and have needed help and Natalie has been very responsive. It's been worth every additional penny I paid for the additional support. Some babies take to training really easily and some babies take longer and you might need that extra encouragement and help to keep at it because it requires a lot of patience and persistence. Either way, I highly recommend this book.

The ONLY baby sleep book you need
I bought this book to read about how to address some new issues cropping up in our house with an older toddler, like the big boy bed and staying in it! Natalie lays out how to set up the room to ensure it is safe. It had not occurred to me to take the light bulbs out of the lamp on his night table, but how brilliant! My son always goes to touch those, and when he can just get out of bed, whats to stop him from going right for it, turning it and burning his fingers. At 3, my son can understand rules now, so her post-it note suggestion works like a charm. He has X number of chances that he can clearly see on the door. Also, her suggestion for the toddler clock in the book worked the very first night, literally! Because he understands red means stop and green means go, he got the concept and the "new rule" he had to follow. His clock light is red, so he stays in bed. As soon as it turns green, he calls for me to come to him. We also hired Natalie back in 2014 before I had to go back to work and needed to get a decent night's sleep. She had our then 5 month old sleeping through the night within 3 nights. She helped us with naps, dropping from 2 to 1 nap, and recently got our now 3 year old to stop new night and early wakings. Literally all of the advice she has given us at various baby to toddler stages has worked, exactly as she said it would. All of her amazing techniques are laid out in the book, from infants to older toddlers, in ways you can easily understand and implement. The book is clear and straightforward, very easy to follow. I read On Becoming Babywise which was insane with its absurd boot camp like scheduling. I also read Weissbluth which was helpful but this book is even more clear with charts, checklists, and *most importantly*, access to the author via social media or her website for additional assistance. Nothing else I have seen offers that! Natalie is amazing at what she does, and on top of that, she is a warm, compassionate person. She saved my sanity- several times as sleep changes as they grow - and I cannot recommend this book enough! I also just bought this for my sister who just had her first baby last week! Best money you will ever spend, hands down.

I'm a sleep coach and LOVE this book!
I'm a sleep coach and I take this book with me everywhere AND when I talk to exhausted parents at my local hospital. I hold it up and say something like this each time, "Buy this book and read it cover to cover. It's not that long, and you will gobble it up because it will finally feel like a sleep method that makes sense to someone other than the author. It is thee BEST sleep book out there and a whole lot cheaper than working with me or any other sleep consultant." I have so many parents report back to me that their "IMPOSSIBLE" child or baby is now sleeping soundly, both day and night bc of the method clearly laid out in this book. And I will continue to recommend this book to families everywhere I go because my heart's desire is to see families getting their little ones the sleep they desperately need.As for the content of this book- This method is the absolute best because it deals with the things that are confusing your baby when it comes to their inability to get to sleep and return to sleep without help from mom and dad. Other methods and books focus on so many other things and miss what's causing the tears in the first place. I'm so very thankful I stumbled upon this book because it's been a wonderful resource to the parents I work with or to any sleepy parent who comes my way.

Miraculous
My nearly 10 months old now sleeps through the night (was waking up every 2 hours before) and naps on schedule. Bed time turned from me having a little work out trying to keep up with him doing his intense cardio training (jumping, turning, trying to escape, having me stand up or sit down at an instant) to him and I cuddling soft and gentle before he goes down and falls asleep on his own.😴😴😴

Good book easy to digest
The book is easy to read and understand, it is clear and concise, you can read the book in one day and work in a plan base on the advices. The method works if you follow the rules, but to be honest it is too hard seeing your baby cry until the method works, it is the hardest thing ever. The writer does not sugar coat the book, it goes to the point and tells you that if you are committed it will work, not sure that there is a parent that can follow the steps as described, but for sure it is the best book to sleep train a baby it has what you need no more nor less.
