When i got the box it had water marks all over it. When i took them out of the box looked like they were used. When i plugged them in they did even turn on i tired multiply outlets still didn't turn on.

Not as expected

Short version:Considering the price i paid for these speakers, they're pretty cool. I bought these because my roommate and I moved to a new condo and our living room looked too cluttered for my previous setup. I'm, as my roommate calls me, an "audio snob" and I don't enjoy movies and gaming as much without a decent pair of speakers. These speakers are aesthetically appealing and they provide adequate sound quality that i can enjoy while my roommate hogs the tv. They aren't like my other tower speakers... they're just little guys. They only stand 25" tall. They're definitely a space saver for a basic stereo setup. You don't need a receiver, nor do you need a separate subwoofer. I only wish they had digital input options. Overall, I pleased with this purchase.Expanded details for anyone that cares:Not 3-way. It's a 2.5 way setup for the side firing woofer and the midrange both produce the bass frequencies. The midrange is actually a small mid-bass woofer and sounds pretty good. The woofer isn't a subwoofer. Just an 8inch paper woofer, but they provide solid bass. The tweeter is a nice poly-silk dome tweeter. The highs are pretty smooth unlike most speakers at this price point.The on-board amp is underwhelming. I don't doubt that the power amp can put out 100watts RMS (at 10% THD), but the preamp section is terribly compressed. Hence the signal-to-noise ratio of 86dB. This means that quiet and loud aren't much different and explosions aren't much louder than whispers. Not a big deal. But the audio quality and consistency across the frequency spectrum is full and detailed as long as you use a good input source.These speakers are a good buy for the price. I recommend them.

I am very impressed with these speakers for the price and quality. They work great with my projector, with the ability to get very loud and provide decent bass. Wish they could have had other audio hookups besides RCA's such as HDMI, but then again the more features the more expensive it would be. Definitely recommend.

Speakers do not work. Do not power on. Dead on arrival. Finish on one of the speakers is damaged and there is glue all over it.

Very fast delivery! OK they are not going to blast away systems costing much more but for the price they sound very good. The ratings of power are false as they sound like they have at most 10w per channel. Please don't make much of the power as they do a much better job then any sound bar I have heard. They are easy on the ears with no grating sound like some sound bars. I would have given them a 5 star rating but as has been mentioned before the remote is worthless, yes it does work at about 3 feet from the main speaker but that's it. If you have a new flat screen TV and know all to well how bad the sound is please spend a little and get a lot better sound with these. These speakers are very nice looking, and should fit any decor.

Do you want the best speakers for their buck? Then buy these. While my ears shatter and my floor and ceiling vibrate, I am bumping so loud I can not even here the other 5 parties going on around me. None of their music, or random commotion outside.Honestly, a must buy.
