I want to make organic perfume myself. And I bought this book to get more information on this topic. From this book I learned how to make beautiful perfumes in the comfort of my own home and for a fraction of the cost of commercial fragrances. This is a very informative book with lots of fragrance recipes. All instructions are very detailed and useful. It is simple and easy to understand and follow the recommendations. I think that this book is a great guide for beginners. I recommend this book for those who want to make stunning and unique fragrances for yourself and as gifts to give to your family and friends.

I had no interest in making perfumes, but I do now!!!! This book makes it so interesting & easy to do. No wonder it had a good rating with so few readers. Straight to the facts, no bunch of repeating facts over & over. Very up front about the ingredients and what worked best for her. Tried & True!!!! Have items to make for other's !!!!

I’d give this zero stars if I could. I got this book because it was free and thought I’d check it out. The author is clearly not trained or educated in aromatherapy, perfumery, chemistry or formulation. All of these recipes will grow mold and bacteria because they are not preserved properly. Everclear, grain or perfumers alcohol is acceptable in the proper percentages, vodka is not. Water or and water based element will start to grow bacteria within days without proper preservatives. Oil and water do not mix without some kind of emulsifier. I really wish untrained people would stop writing books and spreading horrible and unsafe information to people.

I never thought of doing this before, but it just may be fun to experiment with making my own fragrance.

This author knows very little about aromatherapy or organic. Most of the oils she suggested cannot be found in an organic form and are synthetic. The bases that she recommends (vodka ,coconut water) do not work well for perfumery. Definitely a novice. Not recommended.

While this book does have some information, it is very few pages with only a very few recipes. If you’re looking for extensive info, this is not it.

Great for beginners who make their own perfume!

Can't wait to get started . I'm waiting on all the flowers blooming, then picking and drying them . Patience is not my strong suit
