Pet 'n Shape Sweet Potato Chews Jerky Dog Treats - 8 Ounce

Dogs love these. Their tummys don't. If the batch says Made in China, don't feed it to your dog or cat. They can make them seriously ill or die. Mine got seriously ill and had to be hospitalized. $8,000 later and he was back home, still taking prednisone.

I have bought these consistently for my Yorkiepoo. She loves them. Recently I have received 2 batches of bulk treats that are burnt & make her awfully sick. Because they are non returnable, I’m out the money & forced to throw them in the trash. Not sure what’s going on, but please, fix this problem Pet n Shape. I will not be buying these again for a long while...

I have ordered this product MANY times (at least once a month) and have noticed a problem that seems to be getting worse. They used to arrive PERFECT and our dogs always "LOVED" them, but for about the past 6-8 months they are arriving VERY dark (the sweet potato and the chicken). They look and smell burned. The dogs are not as thrilled with them as they used to be. I would REALLY love to have them changed back to how they were. I don't know how to contact the company to let them know, I HOPE this does it--PLEASE change it back.

When you first open the jar, they look perfect. As you make your way down to the bottom things take a turn...all the fresh, french-fry-sized golden beauties (wrapped in a meaty red bow) are on the top and as you dig they become smaller, pastier, older looking until they're just a pale pink nub wrapped in brownish crystalized meat. The kind of quality you get when you buy these from the dollar store. If I were a suspicious person I would say that someone through a handful of good stock over the screw-ups. I ordered from this seller because I thought these treats may be less sketchy than those at the dollar store. Maybe the whole line is bad? It's a shame - the ones on top are proof that they can be a good product.

One of my dog throws up every time after eating this. The other one likes this and has no problem, yet I don't feel safe to feed this to my dogs...Both of my dog has no problem with chicken and sweet potato, but this product is not good for some reasons.

These made my dog throw up every time he ate one. When I finally realized what was causing the problem I got rid of them. I had them previously with no problem, but the new order made him sick.

My dog Lollipop, loves these chicken jerky wrapped sweet potatoes. The problem is the last time it was tiny strips of chicken jerky wrapped on big sweet potato pieces, and she only ate the jerky. It would be so much better if the jerky covered the sweet potato. When it's covered she will eat the sweet potatoes too. Too expensive when they're only wrapped with a thin strip. Shorter pieces of sweet potatoes, more jerky, please! As you can see by the photo, most of the pieces came like this. Waste of money because she only eats the jerky, leaves a pile of uneaten sweet potatoes. She will eat ALL of it when the jerky covers all of the sweet potatoes.

I was surprised at the color and wondered if I had ordered beef sticks instead. But these are the chicken sticks. The chicken is very dark in color. These did not smell burnt as some of the comments suggest, and my dog gobbles them up. I also added a photo with a key next to it so you can see the approximate size of the 16 oz. container.

Way too expensive for the products
